i just want this all to be over and for united to (as expected) let us down and not make any signings so all the rumours can end

hargreaves always has to use his pace to correct his positions

mascherano is always in the right positions, saves him self to crunch players

Newcastle left with a same old crappy defence, worht a try to change it though. As for another striker, seems unlikely, or an overpriced flop at the last minute

Why would Chelsea want Abismal? He was one of (if not the worst!) players at the World Cup.
 
According to the Sun (so probably bs) Spurs have secured Chimbonda and Malbranque. Well I always thought Steed as more of a right sided or central player, but he's certainly an option on the left. Have to wait a while to find out the validity of this rumour though.

Yes so that means he is carp :rolleyes:

Abidal has been one of the best performing left backs in Ligue 1 and Champs League for a few years. He is a better defender than A.Cole but lacks the attacking ability of Cashley, and he can also play CB too.

The fact he was bad for 90minutes (or more) in 7 games during the world cup doesn't fill me with confidence towards his ability, as for being one of the best in the Champions League I would have to disagree.
 
Thank god the transfer deadline is tommorow, really i has been transfer gossip overload this summer what with the cole saga as well. Would be happy if les gooners signed tevez mind. Don't think they will however.
 
Buffon to Arsenal is being reported too. I don't see why we need a keeper this season, there are other areas that we need to cover first.

Buffon seems unlikely, he said he was going to stay with juve though he did say arsenal were one of the teams in for him. Hopefully arsene will land a solid defender.
