@HEADRAT, I've just been looking at your frequency settings and I notice you're running the P6 state at 1627mhz. I don't know if you've tried it but just reduce that down to 1537mhz, set voltage at 1150mv, then try P7 at 1632mhz and set voltage to 1150mv. Those settings are where mine are and my sapphire nitro appears 100% stable with the use its had in the past few weeks. Give that a go and see how you get on, it might help.

Edit: Leave the memory at stock for the time being, no point in introducing too many variables at this stage.

Ignore the "set minimum" setting, that's for specific game setting, otherwise it works perfectly on variety of Vega 64s. (and is not only me but everyone used those settings on other forums).
Set the power under the HBM to 1000 and you will be fine.

Panos - are these still your 'recommended' wattman settings? I'm just about to delve into uv/oc.

These are the settings I use all the time. Some games, like ESO, SWG, of Bethesda engine ones (Fallout, ES) need to set a custom profile and set minimum speed the P7 state.
Otherwise all new games work fine.

The core speed is hovering between 1632 and 1651 on my watercooled reference.

Great i'll give them a try.

Does the fact that I'm using the air cooled nitro+ have an impact on these settings?

Just tried Resident Evil 2, makes it through first cut seen then crashes :(

I've got a Corsair CP-9020070-UK Professional Platinum Series 1200 W ATX/EPS Fully Modular Power Supply Unit coming tomorrow.

Tried 1672, 1702 - 1100mv 1150mv on P6 P7, mem 1100/1000mv, which gave 6937 on superposition 4k optimised. (ran at around 1632 - earlier did 1650 but not stable in heaven)
There's not a massive difference between that and 6741, with P7 on 1672, 1000mv - only 1 min fps difference.

Problem is, my previously stable 1632, 1672 - 1000mv, 1000mv, P6 P7 crashed on a superposition 4k run earlier.
It runs at a steady 1575mhz, which gives a nice quiet gaming setting option.
Mem at 1100/1000mv.
P4 at 1437/1000mv.
Any ideas on how to stabilise it a bit more?

Cheers.

You could try upping the P6 and P7 voltages to 1120mv-1130mv and then increasing memory voltage to the same if it still crashes.

Excuse my ignorance of the subject but is the boost clock not set at 1630 by default on the Nitro?
If you try the default settings, either balanced or turbo - you'll see that the card runs at around 1450mhz on superposition.
Even my 1000mv 1672 P7 runs a lot faster - 1575mhz.
1100mv, 1672 will run it at around 1615mhz - mem at 1100/1000mv - slider at 50%
Nitro + runs cool and quiet at those settings.

If you set the default to plus 50% - it might hit boost clocks but will probably keep dipping down to 1400-ish (I'll have to try it - some say it dips to 1100 or so)

Very disappointed with the stability of the card. Good performance, good cooling & noise, but way too many crashes irrespective of OC (sometimes fine for hours, then crashes). Never had this problem with the 480. Honestly, had I not stupidly redeemed the codes, I would've sent it back.

You running a Gigabyte one? Apparently they put an updated BIOS up to fix stability issues.
