My trial key's already been used I'm afraid, but combat is pretty much standard mmorpg, with moving whilst casting, no auto attack, a limited active skill set (7 active skills, 7 passives chosen from your pool at any one time) and normal mobs having 'special moves' that you need to move out the way of to keep you on your toes. In short it's not bad for pve.
The thing that makes or breaks combat though is your skill synergies, have things that propagate off each other and you're golden, have things with no interaction and it will be less fulfilling
