Someone has probably just googled for tattoos and saw this thread and just decided to start advertising.

quick question for you with tats, if you needed yours touching up because either the colour came out or because it looked like the artists missed a bit did you ever have to pay or was it free?

If you think he buggered it up, then ask him to do it in his own time. If you just want it retouched through age or stretching, then it will cost you, but not much.

How long have you had it? It depends on the circumstances on how it got into that state described.

1. You messed up while it was healing - picking at scabs etc.
2. The ink quality was poor.
3. The tattoo wasnt done properly
4. The tattoo has warped over the years due to your skin changing.

I would contact your tattoo artist and speak to them about it personally. My tattoo artist said that no good tattoo should need recolouring. I had actually asked him about this and he had shown me a tattoo he got years and years ago and the colour was still as black as he had originally got it done.

Is that your name in Windings?

:D

It's only 5 weeks old and had Bep treatment several times a day for the first week, then twice a day for the next 2 weeks.

Because of the size he used a line needle to fill and it looks like he missed a few bits. a few bits look "cloudy" up close.

It was looked after very well, kept it out of the sun, dry and clean. Hardly scabbed at all which was surprising and where it did isn't where I am having issues!

I would go in and let your tattoo artist see it in that case. Just ask nicely if he can top it up, I am sure the artist wouldnt want you to go around and say that it was him who did the tattoo if he knew it didnt look as good as it could be.
