The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Got my consultation and possibly starting on the line work tomorrow (depending on how well the consultation goes :p). Family crest redesign and this guys seems very excited to do it as he loves redesigning crests :D

From left to right, top to bottom:

Got an appointment 10:30 tomoz to have it touched up, shouldn't cost anything :D
 
Spent 8 hours in Llanelli yesterday at Studio Seven Tattoo, had a brief consultation in the car with Drew who was great and picked me up from Cardiff station to take me to the studio!

Was just expecting the line work, possibly some shading but it turns out he likes to do it all in one go and I can handle the pain more than I thought. He worked on me for about 6 hours in total, absolutely beautiful work and I'm waiting for some photos from him as right now it's healing nicely but very very shiny!

Sweet deal dude. How much did it turn out to be? Not that that really matters thats good service!

I might be at the London Tattoo convention this year, all depends of my artist can get a visa to come in from Russia.
I don't tip personally, they are high profile artists and I'm paying a little over the normal already.

Excuse the poor quality webcam photos but I couldn't wait for him to send the ones he'd taken :p (her face isn't wonky but looks it in the photos!)
The 6 hours came to between £250-300. Paid 300 but he's gone one step further in customer service and said the extra 50 will be used as a deposit if I chose to get more work done by him!

Drew XIII at Studio Seven Tattoo in Llanelli but his main place of work is at Painted Lady Tattoo in Birmingham :)

int, stunning work.. and in one sitting.. kudos to you and the artist.. Most artists start slowing down and say.. need another sitting..
 
Some nice tattoos here guys, im going to get my first one soon, Getting 'Kiss The Sky' from the jimi hendrix song Purple Haze (My favourite song), was thinking about maybe getting on the inside of my lower arm going down but im not sure it might look better somewhere else, plus i kind of want to make it slightly psychedelic looking but not sure how with just words, any advice?
 
Healing up nicely already, I'm on my 3rd day of bepanthen and I'll keep this up until it's smoothed out. It's already stopped trying to scab over and the reds haven't shown any sign of red rage which is great :D
