infinity loop was to remind me that it's a big, big, universe.. and anything can happen.. in the middle of getting divorced after being with the same girl since I was 17 (29 now.. broke up day before our 9th anniversary...) finally being myself and doing the stuff I want to do..

Thanks guys.. had a couple of designs based around this, did want a yin-yan int he bigger loop at first.. but it wouldn't have worked at the size I wanted.. so redrew it to look like this..
 
Show me some Phoenix tattoos people!

My best friend has said she'll put towards one for my 21st in a few weeks. Now I did have my heart set on this one

Thats a pretty nice tattoo design for the phoenix dude. imo the size and style of that tattoo would be perfect on the arm as much of a cliché that is.

The tattoo would have to be fixed up slightly by the tattoo artist so the intricate lines in the middle dont look like crap in a few years time. So the tattoo may need to be made quite large.

It depends whether you want people to see it or not. If you want people to see it, Arms if not get it on your leg or on your side.

These are just a few. I have managed to trigger the access denied websites at my work one too many times so I am going to have to stop looking for now, but a quick deviantart search for phoenix tattoos and there are some sweet designs.

I thought it was pretty sweet. Especially when you have white skin (compared to me) it will look really good.

I am lucky, I get my tattoos custom made, still waiting on my guitar tattoo to be finished my friend is trying to perfect it as much as possible!

I'm really undecided on where to get the phoenix. I am thinking on my back, but this has some colour so I want to see it. I'm thinking on my leg above my knee on the top of my thigh. Hmmm...not sure :)
 
I was never too sure about being getting really detailed and colourful tattoos on their thighs. If I got a tattoo like that I would want other people than my girlfriend seeing it.

Of course there is always the option of streaking around town....
 
I was thinking my arm...but its a pretty typical place to have a tattoo...plus I hit the gym a lot. I wouldn't want it to stretch and crack...maybe on the back of my calf. Argh, decisions! lol

Put it right under the tribal one on your back. It'll fit in that recess nicely.

It does look like a pretty good place for a tattoo. But it doesnt quite look like it will go with phoenix design. Looks like a different style or artwork.
 
I thought about getting it under my tribal one, but then thought because it's got colour in it I'd rather be able to see it. Also another problem with my arms is I've got a lot of freckles/moles on there and my tattoo guy won't touch those.
