The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Got this done today, 3hours but it's going to be a full sleeve with no gaps and full colours, step 1.

Had to shave off all my grizzly man hair.

Yup, although the skull is a bit harder to choose, the outline is ready. :)

Very cool tattoo mate. Get more pics up when its done :)

Nope not yet. I'm going in after ma trip to Edinburgh with the misses. Hopefully it wont be to pricey (although she is paying) And i hope the white ink im planning on having comes through OK, because as far as im aware white ink differs between person.

You should get it done in Ace Tattoo Studios in Gorgie Billy Brown is probably one of the best in Scotland. Problem is he is usually fully booked.

Why do so many people get tattoos in languages they can't speak/read? Why not get your name or 'hope', or whatever, in English?

Because foreign languages are 'cool'.

I often wondered why so may people get tattoos with skulls as part of them, I can't understand that one myself.

This is it before it got a powerline round it. It's probably faded a little since then. I'm never sure because obviously I can't really see it very well!

Tis cool.

Did you find it was hard to clean and cream etc because of it being on your back? I know if I tried to put cream for the tattoo on my back I would end up messing the tattoo up!

I just got other people to put cream on it. Cleaning it I just did with the shower and my hands could sort of semi reach it. Wasn't any trouble but if I lived alone it would have been a bit of a pain.

Looks pretty awesome. How long did it take?

Off topicness/ I really cannot remember what your old user name is!

About seven hours in the state you see there. Then the powerline took another couple. That's with a fair few fag breaks, and the artist's reeeeeally meticulous. Most of his work is really complex fantasy stuff, and even with a relatively simple piece like that, I guess he just couldn't help it.

Looks well worth the wait imo.
