The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Most of it is not art.

Its just mindless copying of the latest fashions. Just like the tribal tats and the utter idiots who got "chinese" writing. (lol)

People just want to look like all the loser footballers with "sleeves" as thats what everyone thinks is super cool at the moment.

Just like it was barbed wire on the bicep, or the tribal tats down the top of the arm.

People just follow this stuff like sheep.

Half of the "sleeves" posted in this thread dont even look like anything.

Its like some kid with ADHD has gone wild with melted crayons on someones arm.

Sure, some of the tats are really quite impressive, and ARE definitely pure art, and are breathtaking, but the majority of these fashion tats are shocking. They all look so similar.

Hmmm, you have slightly justified your previous rant.

Part of you I agree with, but most of it I do not.

Vouching for myself I certainly did not get a tribal tat because its a 'trend' or following/making a fashion statement.

I got one because...wait for it...I like the design. Whoa, hold up a minute! You mean Phate isn't part of a tribal clan, or his tribal tat doesn't have 'meaning' behind it.

Nope, mad innit? Who would've thought I got something tattooed on my body because I like it, cor...some people just LIVE ON THE EDGE.

Oh and if you met me in real life when in for an interview no way would you think I had a tattoo ;) - Can only see it if I'm wearing a white shirt, and I'm planning my next, and carefully planning to make sure it's not in view when in an working environment.

Tool.

Dr.Pain you are the moron. You would not hire someone based soley upon their appearence? Even if they were highly skilled, intelligent and had a great personality?

It's crap like this that makes the human race so insufficient...

I bet you're a real joy to be around. You sound like an uptight ponce to me tbh.

IMO suits, ties etc are ridiculous as they are so impractical. Restrict full body movement and often make one over heat and sweat. If they wern't the norm, I'd still hire people who chose to wear them as long as they met the jobs skillset and seemed canny enough.

Just got it done :)

Rest is getting coloured in in two weeks :)[/QUOTE]

The inevitable question...

What does it (you hope :p) say? :p

The inevitable question...

What does it (you hope :p) say? :p

What do I know it says? :p

"What man is a man who does not make the world better?"

Before you say "OMG CASTIELZ QUOTE!!!11eleven" it's a quote my granddad used to say before he died. Why in Arabic? I used to live in Oman :)

EDIT: I'll give an internet cookie to whoever guesses how much it cost :D

You would be surprised! The first one I got is like a quarter of the size and cost 50 quid.

Anyway, it cost a tenner :)

Yeah, she was a trainee, but she's done another for me and did a really good job, but this is the biggest she has done (oo-err). I'm also on BBC Look East tonight, they were filming in the tattoo studio and interviewed me :)
