Finally finished my front. Tutti serra, black garden tattoo, London.
If I was going to get a tattoo it would be something of great detail (and i imagine price)

How much do you think something like that would cost and where could I get it done? If someone gave me a tattoo that looked nothing like the design I would cry

We chatted about this when he was doing my ribs and he said I could skip the list. For my ribs I waited about six months.
Prices vary per studio/artist. Best thing to do is look for places that are local to you and check out their previous work via their website, deviantart, instagram or Facebook pages!
Ah okay, how much does he charge per hour? I should seriously contemplate booking in.
Pretty much this. Have a search around for artists near you who are fully capable of that. You may even have to travel but you don't ever want to skimp out. Well worth it in the end.

£100 an hour. £100 deposit when booking which will get taken off of the last session.
10.5 hours, plus about 30 mins of touchups on the black.

Also relieved that the pain commitment (both financial and physical) is over!1 month now till my chest/sleeve combo - should be interesting to say the least!.
Shame it's a long journey & a 6.5 session, but will be worth it in the end.
Will be nice not putting money away for it too! (£2400 in total it's going to come to), but as others have mentioned - it's not really something you want to scimp on.
Need to remember to stay out of the sun the week before (don't want a sun-burn for it!).

Had this one done a few years back in Camden. Took about 7 hours to finish but was done in one day which is good.

I've found the best thing for itching is liquid piriton. It stopped me clawing my back off when I got mine done.
