The Show Off Your Tattoo Thread

Yeah it's fairly normal, especially with long sessions. The worst bruising was right on the top of my arm, right on my shoulder. I'm pretty sure they started off as small cuts/marks and then turned into bruising.

If I was going to get a tattoo it would be something of great detail (and i imagine price)

I love bio-mechanical tatoos, this one is amazing...

How much do you think something like that would cost and where could I get it done? If someone gave me a tattoo that looked nothing like the design I would cry

Would get one from shoulder to elbow so could be hidden at work

edit - yes, if I was going to get one I would go to NYC for 2 weeks and get one done at anilgupta. http://anilgupta.com/portfolio/portfolio.htm

detail is incredible -

Prices vary per studio/artist. Best thing to do is look for places that are local to you and check out their previous work via their website, deviantart, instagram or Facebook pages!

Pretty much this. Have a search around for artists near you who are fully capable of that. You may even have to travel but you don't ever want to skimp out. Well worth it in the end.

1 month now till my chest/sleeve combo - should be interesting to say the least!.

Shame it's a long journey & a 6.5 session, but will be worth it in the end.

Will be nice not putting money away for it too! (£2400 in total it's going to come to), but as others have mentioned - it's not really something you want to scimp on.

Need to remember to stay out of the sun the week before (don't want a sun-burn for it!).

Had my outline done last friday on my upper forearm, i am now going the itchy flaking stage, today it's itching like a right biatch....

I've found the best thing for itching is liquid piriton. It stopped me clawing my back off when I got mine done. :)
