If it's on Reddit - It must be true
The alpha and beta ran superbly for me on my single 290. When first loading a game, there was stutter for a few seconds but after that, not a problem, I think nvidia users also have the same issue, not really an issue tbh anyway IMO. Generally games stutter for the first few seconds when you first load up anyway, at least on my pc and for some games i.e. GTA 5 and batman AK, I also have to alt tab out first to fix micro stutter.

Not sure but you should certainly look into it a bit further, doesn't sound normal IMO anyhow![]()
0 loading stutter for me - straight in smooth as smooth.
Seems to be something related to the retail game as most people I've seen mention it also said it ran flawlessly in beta.
Even with GSync/Freesync on you'd notice a low frame stutter or bad microstutter, granted it will do what it can to smooth it out but you'd still notice it. Like Batman AK when released and I was on SLI 780's, stuttered and crawled its way through even with Gsync on.
What chipset are you moving to? Had some usage out of that 1156 setup![]()
Never had any stuttering Shanks, SLi Ti's (as you can see)
Guess not everyone is effected, out the guys I play with only two of us get it me AMD and he Nvidia 980 rest of the guys say they dont get it.
Its some sort of caching like loading map into RAM or Vram.. A couple games do this couple at top my head Bioshock infinite and both Resident Evil Rev when going into new chapters.
Anyways its not game breaking at all tbh it happens for a couple seconds loading level and very smooth afterwards.
Could possibly be affecting a particular platform. No doubt they'll fix it quick![]()
Rendering a quick recording of Battlefront now to show the issue when first load into a map...
I never once had stutter after map load... The stuttering from map caching also is 100% not only an AMD issue, I first got told about it when a friend on Teamspeak asked us do you get some stutter on map load and little after he running a 980. Am surprised just how well it runs on my system.
Using Action to record performance impact is around 10fps
Still Processing - Has you can see right at the start notice the stutter when I turn. After that smooth fm
I not sure if its fixable it was there in the Beta.. I think its a method they using.. Not sure if you own the game but just take note how high res the textures are my max Vram usage is 3.3GB
Now I have a feeling upon map load the game is loading all textures into RAM or Vram.
Just look at these

Edit
Maybe reason you don't get is because 6GB Vram?
