The Star Wars: Battlefront Benchmarks Thread

Just to update my artifact problem seems to have been an issue with heat. I forgot to use my fan profile and so the extra shaders along with default fan speed and game at 1080p was generating more heat due to running very high frame rate. Seems to have been fixed by setting fan to 50%. Now I only get 54c.

And I thought x1900xt crossfire was mental for heat back in the day :D. How naive I was. Nowadays its just a whole new level. How will you sort it jedifragger?

Apparently it has a 30-40fps performance hit, which by my reckoning still makes it very playable on the top end at 1080/1440!

That's what you want to see when you turn things up to Ultra isn't it!
Sizeable performance hit, but look at the result. Once they get multi-GPU working it should make it much more practical to run.

It is indeed, if DICE had any sort of common sense they'd be employing the modder to give the game a new 'true ultra' mode :D

30-40 isn't bad at all for the visual upgrade, when you consider a similar loss is given from less effective add-ins.

And tbf to dice, multi gpu has always scaled very nicely on their bf series. Xfire and sli.

That would be awesome if it happened. The screenshots look amazing would be great to play the game whilst looking like that without the fear of losing my account due to running a mod.

Anyone with a fury done any benchmarks with the new Crimson drivers? Intested to see what you think at 1080 and 1440...

It runs slightly better here. Difficult to gage exactly how much without an in built benchmark. Roughly 5fps/10fps at 1080p.
The best thing is not having the hitching at the start, it works fast right away.

This was actually my first round, excuses excuses......

All Ultra + TAA @ 1080P

Avr 100 FPS
