The state of broken Britain's stupid 'class'.......so confused right now

I'm 17 and I don't know who he is, found out he is from that TV show (I don't know what its even about)

He was at a club near mine on Wednesday night or something, facebook invitations going out hyping it up; don't get why you would want to go more because a 'celebrity' is there.

Seriously, the internet is full of videos of people lighting fireworks jammed up their arses, stamping on each others' balls, antagonising big, dangerous animals and eating spoons of powdered cinnamon and yet stories like this still cause people to marvel at people's stupidity?

There is a difference they are there to invoke humour. And in some cases are acting stupid the people obsessed with these people are genuinely stupid.

I think the girls who get excited over him are more stupid than the guy himself I hate this celebrity culture in fact I hate the whole culture in England right now it's disgusting. Romance really is dead. Being from Essex myself I have seen the impact the show has had on people who live here and I hate it. People try to be like the people on the show, where did we go wrong when children aspire to be like these 'celebrities'. I hate how people are so stupid but that's a really arrogant thing to say.

Sorry for typos written on phone

Thing is, this guy, does nothing..........and sends your average female into an utter frenzy, I've never in my life seen so many (mostly hot) girls go utterly mental (they all seemed to loose self respect as well)............it doesnt make sense............the guy does nothing, and gets famous, and got a few grand to be there tonight - I don't get it.

Even the minimum wage staff there, litterally do more and contribute more to society than he does.

Where did socety go wrong

In terms of allowing people such as him to exist - society went wrong centuries ago... its hardly anything new, only in the 1800s he wouldn't have been a reality TV star but rather perhaps the son of an aristocrat - maybe purchasing his commission in a local militia outfit and poncing around London clubs/gambling halls in his shiny uniform flashing cash about.

There's only one place that's worse than Essex - and that's Cheshire (although Macclesfield is alright).

God I hate these regions that seem to be up their own *****.

Women are sexually attracted to the guy, it's got nothing to do with intelligence!

Clearly!

Jeez, I wish that happened every time I went into a club.

Op is rightfully jealous :p

Your damn right, lol, horny hot chicks, everywhere.

It might just be Bangor that's a bit backwards to be fair,....not necessarily society or the nation as a whole. It is Wales afterall. :)

Oi, Bangor is alright! good uni, awesome location, love the fact im 20 mins from the foot of snowdon, or again 20 mins from some of the UK's best beaches. Also got some of the most interesting projects going on - Pontio is an example, £29 million arts and humanities project, been to all there shows so far, very varied and good quality stuff/acts.

End of the day, everywhere you go in the UK, there is a tescos....other generic business names etc, so where you live doesnt matter in terms of available shops etc, especially with the internet, the only thing thats unique now is the surrounding scenery.

haha i'm sure I've seen you around squirrel! Was the club by any chance in Bangor?

Yup ! freaky ! whom be you ? ? :p

I guess my question is, what is wrong with society where the general public applaud such people, but ignore people that actually do something useful?

I laughed as images of waiters and toilet cleaners being mobbed by groups of over-excited women entered my head.

Danny Dyer turned up at one of our local nightclubs with similiar story... its like WTF hes a pretty small time actor.

Sexist much? I think your attitude towards women is about 200 years out of date. Stupidity isn't based on gender.

LOL Was half asleep. What i meant to say was that when it comes to "Fit" men, in most cases women and intelligence do not go in the same sentance... Hence why i quoted the previous post.

How many times have you seen or heard a clearly intelligent woman turn into a prehistoric cave woman over a "Fit" bloke? Clearly as the rammed club full of women for "Celebrity" Joey Essex would suggest!
