The state of broken Britain's stupid 'class'.......so confused right now

Isn't this just tribal behaviour?

The top male in the tribe sleeps with his pick of the women, all the females want to sleep with the top male? The evolutionary aspect of this is that the top male is perceived to have the best genes, and he will choose the female who has the best genes, resulting in a offspring that over time will evolve to be a better human?

The problem with this is that we don't recognise and mitigate our tribal instincts, while we've socially evolved past them. So now we have tribal instincts and they express themselves in ways that don't mesh with modern life.

in regione caecorum rex est luscus

or to put it in English, in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

Someone without much talent is considered special by those with no talent at all.

Really? You think all of the people there were had such a lack of talent that this bloke was the king? I don't accept your explanation at all.

Well to be honest some of them off the only way is essex aren't stupid.

Take Amy, the..ahem..large asset..girl..She came out of GCSEs with mostly As-A*s and I know many would say they're easy now, but to do that you either have to be naturally clever, or study quite a lot.

So fair play to her.

No, I don't accept your explanation at all. The reason there were so many people there is because he's a celebrity. It's nothing to do with talent, of which he has virtual nil.

Don't they give you an A for just turning up nowadays? :o:D

As ever, welcome to the world of the left wing lunatic. dumbing down education, removal of grammar schools, making universities so 'accessible' to everyone that the only way to keep them going is to allow them to charge higher prices, thus forcing the vast majority out of education rather than educating those who are willing and able, paying people to be at college who don't want to be there, encouraging poor people to have children by the bucket load, creating a society that promotes sitting on benefits over working at the low end of the spectrum, taxing the wealthy so much that it discourages people wanting to do well for themselves anyway, promoting spending money you don't have to buy worthless **** you don't need to impress people you don't like anyway etc. etc. etc.

Frankly this country needs some harsh conservatism (read: a harsh wake up call) and a slap around the face to wake up to the reality - our nation is going to the dogs.

If you have ever voted labour in the past please find a high cliff and jump off it - this is YOUR fault.

No you don't, I'm not clever nor did I study and I managed 6A/3B/2C and that was turning up to most half asleep. You say they're getting easier - they're already as easy as:

If 10 people have 10 oranges each how many oranges do they have in total? (36 marks)

a) 11
b) 100
c) A gazillion

Wow. You pretty much hit the nail on the head :D, though maybe a little (?) off topic.

Women are sexually attracted to the guy, it's got nothing to do with intelligence!

While this is probably true, why the hysterics, why the screaming mobs, why act like a complete moron.

The issue is how stupid people react to things like attraction and just about anything else.

I was thinking the story of girls screaming and crying, at a POSTER of one direction is just, embarrassing.

People who see people with any level of fame and fall to pieces and turn into screaming crying idiots are, for me, idiots to begin with.

It's not new, at all, but does seem to maybe be getting worse or, trickling down and happening with more and more "famous" people. I don't get it for the Beatles but they were the biggest band in the world, girls weren't falling to pieces over Joey Essex types years ago.

People like to see people that have little bankable talent doing well because it makes them feel better about themselves. "If so and so can be rich and famous then so can I".

The lower the requirements for celebrity, the better it is for people that idolise them. They can look at the celeb and truthfully say that they have nothing special that they themselves do not possess.

Joesy Essex is most likely a right wing conservative who thinks exactly like you do. Because some how he would end up in a an elite private school, and be the boss of a company despite of intelligence. Nearly every "rah rah"(http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=rah-rah) type person does this, and joey essex is one those types. He dresses like one, he was brought up like one, and his ambitions are simular.

That view would just reenforce that some people are all winners(Like joey essex), and rest minimum wage workers are losers who worship the winner. No in between. Those policies effectively reinforce these people -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKFjWR7X5dU. Believe me I went to university with people who are EXACTLY like that guy in that video, who are dumb but somehow got into an elite university and despise(make fun of) common people. They have views exactly like yours, because it reenforces this behaviour.

I'm a different kind of right wing - A libertarian and despise these people. They don't thrive on competition, they use state selection to pick winners and losers(Effectively grammar schools, which almost always end up selecting middle class kids) and remove competition. I would give parents a voucher, which allows them to pay for a private school of their choice as oppose to being forced to to send their kids to state grammar schools or a state secondary modern sink school or whatever.
