You think it's fake because it wasn't a fawning fan boy write up?

And before you deny being a fan boy, take a look through your posting history as I just did. Don't make me start taking lots of quotes out to prove it, I don't have the time.

Lol, what’s up with that odd reaction?!

I stand by my comment, it’s a crap piece of fake journalism.

I’m not sure why you are suggesting it’s a particularly negative review either? I personally don’t care either way.

I am mostly bemused by your manic posting and feverish searching of my posting history. Weirdooooo!

moreover - the financial results, profitability.... discussed this morning on r4/today
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/24/tesla-earnings-q1-2019.html

Investors have been paying close attention to shifting levels of demand for Tesla's Model 3 electric sedans, especially in China and Europe, after Tesla focused its efforts on overseas markets late in the first quarter.

They are looking to understand whether Tesla can profitably make the Model 3 after several price changes. Tesla briefly sold a version of the Model 3 for $35,000as originally promised, but soon removed that option and raised prices.

Tesla have not removed the $35k version, you just need to go in to a store or call them directly, a bit like buying other brands for the most part, ordering online means you don't have the option. CNBC come out with some guff, not just about Tesla but inaccurate articles with click bait headlines, it's pretty rubbish reporting on my eyes.

UK orders open next week, Elon said 1st or 2nd. lets see how the pricing is conformed. FSD price increase is now maybe just 1k $ so not gona jump till i manage to see the Model 3 at fully charged hopefully in July.

You can drive the M3 home straight away after a track day :p

True, but as the article itself states:

"Where the BMW’s comfort and refinement is conceded quite a bit to unlock its track potential, the Tesla is utterly uncompromised…”

It's an effective commuting car, with best-in-class fuel economy, while also being notably faster than the direct competition. Seems like it might be worth the brief refuelling stop.

Telsa have now announced that they are pushing they Supercharger V2 up to 150kW, will be interesting to see what SoC is need to get the full speed on the Model S 100kWh packs, I can only assume that M3's will be from 7%-75% on the LR version.

Interesting! I just did a quote, almost identical details to our current car (BMW 340i) and its double the price. If I recall correctly last year we paid around £450 and the Tesla Model 3 quote is £906.

Where are you getting quotes from? Apparently Direct Line do a special deal but you need to contact their specialist Tesla team.
