The "Top Gear", Season 24/25/26 thread

Crap episode I thought. AMG bit was good but wish i had stopped after that.

Rory annoyed the hell out of me and the Cuba piece was crap compared to what a couple of guys from YouTube can do.

i thought it was the best, because it was part documentary and quite informative about Cuba..............BUT the Crane demolishing bit was pointless rubbish.......THAT NEEDS TO GO.

``the camaro speaks for itself``...........``yea' i'm a pile of junk``

Awful ep.
The Cuba segment was nothing like the Cuba part of Fate of the Furious, not a hot, scantily-clad babe in sight. Just that pudding Rory and his 'Elementary' sounding friend Chris.

the show will never be as good as Clarkson and Co, it's better than it was, but they dont gell together and they never will............the banter has moments of awkward silence because they dont like each other.
Chris is hiding his spiteful personality .... Rory is quiet and nervous ......and the Yank is too laid back to give a **** about anything.

Chris Harris is still the weak link for me. He's not being natural and he can't act. I don't mind Rory, but he's never given the opportunity to make any meaningful contribution.

And what the hell with the cars?

The exact same Camaro that Clarkson drove in the first TG US special and the same Maserati BiTurbo that they did an entire trip in three variants of in The Grand Tour.

Just when you think they have zero imagination, they take it to a whole new level.

Either way I think I need to go Cuba now

Harris was smoother, seemed to be getting into the swing of things... Rory is just awful still, you can tell he legitimately thinks a car with 150bhp is considered fast and really goes on about it

yes definitely, i bet the Cuban drag racers thought that he was a total idiot, but Clarkson's red Camaro was in MUCH worst nick than that one last night....... if my memory is accurate!

Mighty car mods recent Cuba episode was quite a lot more insightful into the Cuba car culture and the crazy stuff they have to do to keep cars on the road. It just felt like top gear turned up, drove around a bit and went home while giving me very little information on anything (apart from lancia winning a couple of races in the past). I did like the rest of the episode though.

I enjoyed the episode tbh, actually really quite like the way they use large machines to break things - the big kid in me would love to do such things!! :o

Think Matt is really getting into this, Rory is quite weak and Chris is ,well, Chris!

Still prefer it overall to TGT.

Matt and Chris are doing well

The chat segment is way to long, I watch on iPlayer so skip past that, actually on iPlayer it doesnt take long to watch the whole show as only interested in the car parts. Matt in the AMG was great, shame we didnt see the GT3 round the track too, could have reduced the talk time and shown that instead.

The only part of the Cuba visit worth showing was the drag races and then the circuit race.

I watched the latest TG episode first and thought it was a nice little piece, but then I watched the MCM episode and it blew TG out of the water.

Watched on catch-up. Starting losing interest during the Cuba segment and switched off totally when they were doing the celebrity sofa/lap thing. Missed probably 20/25 minutes and I don't feel like I need to go back and watch it.

Harris definitely seemed more relaxed this week in the Studio.
