Did anyone else think it looked like Chris and Eddie weren't driving the Alpine when it caught fire?
I think they're trying to obviously make him look like a bit of an odd addition for comedic value, but it doesn't quite work imo.Not the best episode to end with, not sure what demographic Rory is trying to gel with but it really doesn't work when he's with Matt and Chris.
Was enjoying the Alpine bit.. until Eddie turned up. *sigh*
If it wasn't £50k, I'd certainly consider one. But... Naaah. Shame. It's a great looking thing and looks like a great back road blaster.
It really is crazy. Honda managed to make the S2000 at reasonable price which is a similar drivers type car. I would say 35k is a more reasonable price.
It was £28k new in 2009 on the last 100 too. But even then a lot were sold for less than that.S2000 was £27k new, in 1999. Today, with inflation, that's around £45k. The Alpine is a more exclusive, complicated car as well.
At least the Alpine wasn't as ugly after the fire

Rory Rory Rory.......
He needs replacing, guy can’t compete on any level and is starting to just look like a grade A ***
I know right, the original is up there with the sexiest looking motors of all time but that new thing - just no.
I wonder if they sell those SUV after TG is done with them. Wouldn't want to be that sucker
