The "Top Gear", Season 24/25/26 thread

Thoroughly enjoyed that, the first episode of the “new” TG I’ve sat down and watched, enjoyed and laughed out loud at without realising I was supposed to be comparing it to what had gone before....

They are well on the way to cracking this.

Will watch later. RAF program is still on. Think the one last week was decent but it’s the first I watched. Not watched much of either this or TGT

Not as strong as previous episodes but still getting better, I don't understand why they didn't let Sabine properly push that car instead of the old we've done it so many times before coaching that is just an angry German negging who ever is driving.

Enjoying the Alpine segment but Jesus Christ did that catch fire quickly. Can't be a great advert for Alpine.

Edit: they just clarified it was a prototype Still, I wonder if that might put people off.

so an all aluminium body melts/burns to nothing ? I suppose any driver still inside would have died by that point so maybe does not matter ?
is effect on possibly adjacent objects worse than steel would be though ?
does it have a high crash rating nonetheless - article on alu bodies
... with the comment about forged alu enigne mounts failing on the volvo xc60 - would the Alpine parts also be forged ?

Good ep, Matt and Chris are pretty damn funny in parts and both willing to throw caution to the wind and push the cars (The states Chris had that XC60 in on the bumpy stuff!)

Rory Rory Rory.......

He needs replacing, guy can’t compete on any level and is starting to just look like a grade A ***
