The Touchpad Android thread

I'm not hugely bothered by that at the moment - just having a CM9 install with the market working as it should is plenty to tide me over ... can just flash another better build as and when.

I'm struggling here, I've managed to get moboot etc on there and I've installed CM9 as per the cyanogenmod wiki but when it starts up it gives me the boot options (clockworkmod/cyanogenmod/webos), CWM works, Webos works but CM9 starts, I get the initial splash screen then it reboots back to moboot.

Any ideas?

Hi, Can sombedy advice me on Android instalation.

Used my HP TP for 2 weeks and luck of aplication on WEBOS makes me want to install Android (love Android on Galaxy s2), just checked couple youtube videos and thinking to install this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro3wGUTTi1Y

I believe it is latest version CM9 and installation looks quite easy!

Do I have to consider something before installing android? will I have chance to delete it if something goes wrong? or any other useful tips welcome.

Thank You.

by the way, just figured this out by accident, I was using acmeinstaller not acmeinstaller2... I always forget why flashing etc gets on my nerves until I'm doing it.

its pretty straightforward, the issue I had was guides being all over the place but eventually it makes sense! Used briefly, looks good!

JUST INSTALLED USING VIDEO LINK I PROVIDED BEFORE- got through getting tarted process/ connected to wifi..so far so good :) will report back once checked everything

my all 120 apps where installed automatically, now first couple questions: Camera doesn't work? and when I connect device to PC my computer won't install usb drive.

WebOS-style task switcher

Not seen it mentioned yet, but WebAOKP has been ported. It's a WebOS-style task switcher and it works very well indeed. Certainly a lot better than the ICS task switcher and a plus for anybody who misses the WebOS switcher:
