How do i remove Android so its just webOS again?
a few posts upHow do i remove Android so its just webOS again?
There is, it takes less than 1 minute of typing and 10-25 mins for WebOS Doctor to do it's thing.
Here's what I did:
Boot to WebOS (I'll assume you have preware installed on the TP). Look for a program called Xecutah, it's a client side terminal. Fire it up and type:
lvm lvscan
and it will show you all the partitions. The ones you want to remove are CM-Data, CM-system, CM-Cache.
To do that, at the terminal prompt, type:
Lvremove /dev/store/cm-system
Lvremove /dev/store/cm-cache
Lvremove /dev/store/cm-data
Reboot the device whilst holding the volume up key to get the white USB icon. Attach the TP to the PC.
Download WebOs Doctor and let it do it’s thing
Remove any old .android folders by mounting the TP to the PC.
I didn't back my TP up before I did this, and all the local media has gone. However, as far as applications go, it just goes off to the market and installs all your apps in the background. I had to re "preware" and kernel the unit again too.
How do you switch between android and webos?
Hold the power button, then select "reboot to webOS" (seems a little flaky at the moment). Or just reboot it, then you get 3 seconds to select webOS/clockwork/Android or it will default to Android.
I tried this a while back and for the life of me cannot figure out how to change the selected option (I think there are 4 options). Touchscreen does not seem to work on the bootup screen.

Volume rocker and Home button for select?
Dooooooohhh. Seems so obvious now you mention it!!! (I used the select button, but never realised the volume rocker could change options!)

Should i not be unzipping these into the same folder?
I unzipped both files into the same folder. Both archives contain a META-INF folder, therefore when I unzipped 2 it asked me if I wanted to overwrite stuff, to which I agreed.
You don't unzip them!
Just choose WebOs from the boot menu using the volume keys and then press the "menu / select" button. It will boot into WebOs then.
