The Touchpad Android thread

Anyone install the webos update AFTER installing android?

I don't seem to be able to get the boot menu. If I turn it on and off, or restart it should appear right?

I presume I am going to have to uninstall android and start again.

cheers i've got it working guys, a lot of the apps display as if it were a phone i was using, for example pokerist, whereas on the ipad they show full screen.

im assuming this will be addressed when ice cream sandwich version of cyanogen comes out?

only overclocked to 1.5ghz, it can do more, but dont want to risk it on a alpha release.

wi fi on cm7 alpha is really poor, i get 3 bars in WebOS, but 1 bar in Android which is really slow and cuts out sometimes.

router is running dd-wrt, and is fine with all other devices in my home.

Alpha or the new Alpha? Can't say I noticed any different on mine

new Alpha

wi-fi is unusable its that bad, im literally 10 metres away from my router and 1 bar. In WebOS it flies, but a couple of days ago in android it was fine, I even managed to download about 9 files which were all over 60MB fine. I'm thinking wi-fi is not 100% yet as it seems flakey to me. Using WebOS mainly for now.

I'm having the same issues. Wifi is very intermittent in android but when I switch back to WebOS it's fine.

well its good to read about these bugs, don't seem too many considering its still Alpha - amazing.
I'm still holding off switching until its at least at a stable beta or preview release though.
And remember to donate guys, it keep the CM guys going ;)
