True but if you have a good tank that performs as good as a
Dripper and is as easy to rebuild as a dripper like a kayfun 4, then why have a dripper when you can have the same performance and you don't have to keep filling it as often?

Iv not tested s Kayfun 4 but I think it's defo going to be my next buy, as for this dripper iv got well I ain't used it for past few hours been busy gaming after it became dry just put my kayfun on so I didn't have to keep stopping on my game. But tomorrow I'm going to go out to the shed and drill out the air hole on that dripper and add another one to the other side so it has two air holes perfectly aligned with the coils and see how it does, if it works good then I might get a mutant x thingy you mentioned. :)

I've been looking at the mutation myself too (great minds et.al. ;)) I really thought that the air holes design seems better on the v2 than the v1, I'll have a closer look nearer the time when I'll purchase it, the tri-screws shouldn't bother me as they look like nintendo type screws and I have 2/3 drivers for that as is. :)

It's just the angled bits that block the airholes that are better, though whether they make any real difference is debatable. It should also come with a super wide drip tip too, which should make a bigger difference.
I actually have a V2 clone on the way, purely for the top cap section just out of curiosity (FT and their silly cheap bargains :D Has normal screws too, and an adaptor to fit a normal drip tip).

As for those screws... Having the tool is one thing, it being a fiddly ******* is another :D

Does a KF4 vape like a proper dripper?
Personally, I think £120 for an atomiser is having a bubble even if it does have some nice features and good build quality. It can't be THAT good compared to other stuff out there and when you consider the amount of good gear you could get for that price...

A Big Dripper and/or something like a Lemo/Orchid V4 spring to mind as good all in one solutions. Not as cool and flavour of the month/new shiny shiny as a KF4, but still.

Btw, I only recommended the MX because I thought it was still around £13. Since it's around £20, there are plenty of other good drippers in that price range that would serve just as well :)

Is 0.7ohms safe? I use a 18650 battery on a vamo v6, I don't know much about ohms etc, iv always just stuck to 1.8ohms.

This dripper feels red hot haha, iv kept checking the battery it doesn't feel hot. iv just never vaped this low ohms before.

Sorry, missed this bit earlier.
Yeah, it's safe :) It's probably getting pretty hot due to the lack of airflow.

The only reason why I personally use a dripper is to taste juices.. For me; I can smell and taste the juice so much better in a dripper. I don't sub ohm, chase clouds or run mechs (atm) but what pees me, is filling a tank, popping a head, of using a new rebuild for it to taste rank and having to waste/suck out the juice, wash and dry the setup for the next juice. With an RDA, I can just remove the wick, dry burn and re-wick, so cheap and easy RDAs with reduce chambers are my thing.

I'd picked up a small (size of the top part of my thumb) RDA for c9v @ £9 thou FT has them much cheaper about £2 pounds.. it's great for what I use it for but its a pain to rebuild lol. :D

Edit: just in case someone haven't seen them, but there's guides (I mainly use YT) to setup different tank systems to be used as drippers, I've not done any myself as the price of a dripper vs time, effort and risk, isn't worth it to me.

Did not think the Vamo V6 could fire below 1ohm, mine certainly could not and thats why I sold it... As for safe, that depends on What 18650 battery you have, they are not all the same, for a .7ohm build you need a battery that can easily put out 5amps constant to run the vamo at 20 watts.
As for a cheap Original RDAs, the mutation is great and about the cheapest you will get, but its so airy that flavour suffers, its a cloud chuckers atty after all... for an extra £10 you can get an original Infinity CLT V2 Plus, or you can got both off FastTech for less, the CLT is great for clouds but is also much better for flavour than the mutation thanks to the additional under coil airflow like the plume veil has.

I've got an original Mutation X v1, its a decent dripper, not the greatest for flavour, but its still very nice. some serious clouds out of it. :D

Hey guys

Picked up the Kanger Sub Tank last night, not had a chance to wick & fill it yet, seems really good value with whats inc in the box for £30.

Sitting at 0.6 ohms with the 2 pre installed coils on the rebuildable deck.

Cheers all

I've been using one for the past week or so, before that it was a plume. This is at .14ohms.

My summary of these would be;
Plume > Incredible flavour, pretty decent clouds
Mutation X V1 > Very dulled flavour, IMMENSE clouds :p

This is why I prefer the CLT V2 Plus, it gives the best of both worlds, clouds and flavour, and less leaking than both of those too.

Hmm there is 3 KF v4's on FastTech that all look very similar. The cheap one and the most expensive one look almost identical. Then there is a mid priced one (with black O-rings) that seems to come with more spares.

I wonder which one is the best?

hehe aye, ill compare it to my £25 kayfun 3.1 clone that I got a month ago. when my kayfun 3.1 works its great, but then all of a sudden youll get a dry hit or a flood or something, and its a pain in the *** to drain it and figure out whats wrong with it.

Hopefully the kayfun 4 will be better, because you easily just fill from the top and you can access the coils any time :) looking forward to it.

Looks good, are they expensive?

Cheers all
Little bit. Looking like a strong KF4 replacement, which shall go in the UKV Classies. :)

As for the KF4 clones...

The first one on FT has been up for a while, Sure I read people were saying they used an original KF4 for the pics. Will be interesting to see how they go as the spring in the air and juice flow control is a pain if your not careful. ;)

Good luck with the clones. lol

It does seem to be a vast improvement over its predecessors that's for sure, I hope it has a looser draw also as that was my biggest issue with the Kayfuns. :)

If you check the reviews and discussions that tends to give you a idea on how good they are (well in the batch they brought at least). Not thought about getting a genuine lemo instead of a clone KF?
