yeah! that's right 24ct gold (plated) factory made clapton coils... :D

"Sick Clouds". "Dope Flavor". "Bling Up."

Is this what vaping has become?

What next? Triple Ollie Sick Kick Flip-Style Yo' Momma So Fat She Mo' Cloud Than Y'all Cuz?

That sounds SICK BRO!

;)

lol... I brought them for a laugh and to have a play... but there's been a rather large "market" area that's been like that for a while. They not much more than standard oem coils and they claim to last longer.

Nice, what % are you using it at?

I've just ordered some concentrates from T-Juice, I ordered :

Red Astaire Concentrate.

Colonel Custard Concentrate.

Jacques Le Mon Concentrate.

Jack the Ripple Concentrate.

I have some Pixie Juice concentrates and they recommend 22-26% this seem's a bit high and haven't tried them yet!

Red Astaire. recommended 15% i do it at 17% no steep

Colonel Custard 20% iirc, never tried it but will need a few weeks steep

Jacques Le Mon good at 15% still quite stong, no steep

Jack the ripple, i tried 15%, 20% and 25% and i found it very bland, may have been just a bad batch, iirc this is supposed to be better after a few weeks steep

Damn, was trying the Smok TFV4 with TI coil on the new Penny mod... coil blew which is normally not a big deal, would just stop vaping and get "check Attomizer"... but Noooo, this went out Big time, flames and all, burnt the tip of my tongue a tiny bit....
Not impressed... so took out the RBA and put in a standard Quad coil head, set it to power mode and 60w... no more pulsing and hits well.

Just thinking out loud here. A twitch streamer I watch play CS:GO is a vaper and you can often see him taking a toke on his ecig whilst playing. This got me thinking since gaming is big $$ business $$, if any of you Twitch stream why don't you get sponsored by an ecig vendor, company and eliquid manufacturer? That way you get free gear just to promote products whilst doing stuff you enjoy.

That is unless of course vaping is not allowed, but the streamer I watch does it.

What do you think? Or should I just go to sleep? lol

Hey guys haven't posted in this thread for a long time. Things seem to have moved on quite a bit in hardware! I'm still on my old KF+ and Sigelei Zmax V5 that I bought at the beginning of 2014. I use them everyday with just Boots VG and Nicotine. After stopping buying flavoured juices, this habit has cost me nothing really since quitting cigarettes nearly two years ago, lol.

But it's time to replace my gear I think. The button on this mod is a PITA, it doesn't respond very well, and got worse since I've dropped it or knocked it over more than a few times. And I'm attracted by the easy top filling of the Kayfun 4. With mine, I top fill but it's the usual hold it upside down and finger over the air hole. Is the Kayfun still the industry standard so to speak or is there better with just as easy filling? I don't mind buying a clone unless there's no decent ones that don't leak?

Also I've noticed loads more vapers in public now that ever before and they all have box mods. So are more people buying box mods these days than regular devices? I must say I quite like the look of them, what can you recommend that I can continue to use my 18350 and 18650 batteries with?

Hey buddy, the kf4 fell out the graces of a lot of vapers; only a very few people I know still use them, more people are using the kfl+ with custom parts. The go to rtas at the moment are:
Goblin mini (budget), vaporgiant mini/mini nano (mid range) and then high end is squape r, hurricane (the new tank is coming and worth waiting for).. Most people's unicorn tank at the moment is the ubertoot..

Mod wise, boxes have taken over; I can't even think of the last non mech tube that came out that let alone made an impact. Everyone is basher choice is the p4u ipv d2, some are going with the sig 75w.. Midrange would be the sx mini m class or the vaporflask (there is a sx version coming out soon) and high end.. Well there's loads of stab wood mods, my personal choice is the zero xtreme. It's pretty much all about the yihi chips.

No doubt you will have to upgrade you batteries for them to cope with the power demains of the new 40w/75w/100w mods. But there's loads of fixed battery mods out now and the kanger subtank mini or some other version of a sub homing tank is in every vaper's arsenal.. It's been an extremely fast moving year for vaping.. :)

Where do you guys get your homebrew components?

Also, can anyone recommend a blue slush recipe or premixed concentrate?

Thanks slinxy! Wow, there's a lot of stuff you mentioned for me that I can research. :)

Easy fill like the KF4 is basically the first thing I'm looking for. I wonder why the KF4 fell out of grace, it looks like a great bit of kit and also includes a glass tank. The barrel shape is not particularly appealing though.

I'm pretty new to Vaping and just got myself a IPV4 S 120W Box Mod by Pioneer4You and a Sigelei Elite Tank with a NI200 coil at 0.2 ohms and currently vaping at 70w. I've got some 100% VG Menthol 'Cloud Chaser' juice and that seemed to help with the clouds a bit.

Is this a good set up/combination to be going with or is there a better alternative? I'm mostly looking to get big clouds.

Lot of people are into sub ohm or vaping now at a lower ohm.. and the kf doesn't handle the wicking nor the power well (my spring gave up on me lol), nor does it coupe to great with temp control.. which is all the fad at the moment.

all the tanks I've mention bottom fill just unscrew and fill like a giant evod. apart from the goblin which is a pain and needs a scerw driver but it vapes very well and the price (£27) it covers up a lot of it's sins. Top fill hasn't taken off as much.. the only recent tanks are the silo beast (sub ohming) and aspire triton, both take factory coils but both can use a RBA selection.

New to vaping you say? and your high wattage sub ohming on your first setup? oh dear...

^you shouldn't be vaping in wattage mode with a 4s, enter the menu (5click) and change mode to joule and then coil to ni200 :)

My self and others on here will recommend something rebuildable using G1 titanium wire for the best results, the 4s also has a setting for Ti01.

Is that bad? Oh god, you've worried me.

Is there a difference between vaping in joules over watts? What are the advantages? Do you know what how many joules I should be vaping at?
