Its 111x60x31mm so a bit of a beasty but I'd rather a tidy big mod than a messy little one.

That's about the size of a Hammond 1590B.
I do not think you will be able to read the resistance through the Escribe with just USB power.Normally your resistance is 0 until you hit fire button.
It does power the screen on(very handy to check you have not screwed up screen install).

It's 30mm taller than the ModMaker box.

I think I'll do a small 3s Lipo in the mod maker box, I think I need a bit of practice before building in such a small box

yeah it is a tight squeeze to get 2 18650 in a 1550p, but the cnc box has a few more mm which will make it a breaze, barely had to mod the battery sled like i did on the proper 1550p.
My first DNA mod was the Cloupor Mini, now that was tight.. after that the 1550p is far simpler, but i can understand your concern.
The worst part is getting the holes for the buttons and screen and the mounting holes for the chip, the Mamu faceplate makes that bit much easier i hope.

Finished, well about an hour ago but I've been fiddling with Escribe for a while
More than happy with the build in general.

Will have to have a go at something smaller in the future, the art is definately in being able to solder really short runs of wire

So my Aspire Tank cracked and leaked the fluid into my jeans...great! My brother had a spare Aspire Nautilus Mini tank and I'm now using it on my 1300mAh battery:

The output on my battery is 4.2v and with this new tank I need more power as the draw is weak.

What would you recommend? I don't want to spend silly money (£35-40 tops really) but I would like a battery which can produce a higher output, I don't feel like I'm getting the hit anymore.

What about one of these?

Kanger SUBOX Mini Black Starter Kit - works out about £35 from Fasttech.

A new vape shop opened up in my local town last week and popped in to have a butchers. They're called Medusa Juice and were mainly a juice seller but now sell a lot of mods, tanks, RDA's and loads more.

After about a hour of vaping and drinking coffee I ended up buying a couple of new Samsung 18650's and a smok xcube 2 to replace my sigelei 75w. Nothing wrong with the old 75w but you know how it is :D

Great guys and prices that actually match the likes of myepack which I was surprised with. Really enjoying the Xcube, took a while to get used to it and also blew a OCC ni200 coil up by accidentally setting it to dual coil but all is good.

Well lets see your creation... :)
Escribe is some bit of software, you can spend a lot of time messing with it, make your own screens and themes... like ive done..

Escribe is wonderful. I'm amazed at how different the vape from this is compared to my 75W TC Sigelei.

The Atlantis I normally use around 50w 450F but the DNA200 needs 480F and 35w to maintai. The Temp after a big preheat punch

Need to tidy the USB cutout a bit, find a way of securing the screen permanently and throw some paint at it

Looks very tidy, especially for a first build, as for securing the screen, most do as you have and use the foam from the box it came in, i got one of those hygiene drip tips and cut the 510 end off then cut it length wise to give about a third and used it as the bend acts like a spring and puts pressure gently on the screen to hold it in place.

Yeah pre heat is amazing and you can lower your watts as a result as you only need them to hold the temp, the pre heat and punch get it there, i have punch set to 8 on mine, from the default 5, makes a difference.

Thanks, the only bit that I'm not 100% happy with is the +ve wire for the 510, but then if I had paid attention the 510 would have been the other end. Next one will be in the ModMaker CNC box, probably a 3s Lipo next time as well

Yeah i personally would have mounted the chip lower and had the 510 over it, but thats just me and the way i vap.
I have to wait for the Mamu faceplate before i can finish my CNC box :(, not impressed as i had hoped to have it built by now... but ill be doing dual 18650 again as the battery life is fantastic, getting around 500 puffs or two days with my Lemo 2 on it in temp mode using two Efest 2800mAh 35a batteries... its an awesome mod.

Yea the trouble is with the box being so tall mounting the chip and lower would mean the fire button ends up in a really awkward position

Ah well see i would have used the space above to fit in a separate Bigger fire button... that box was made for it.
I see you used vamo buttons for teh up/down, did you also use the vamo fire button, and is that the stealthvape fitting kit, did you have to grind down the vamo fire button at all?

Vamo buttons all round and the Stealth Vape mounting pack.

I had to take a little off the back of the fire button as it would auto fire if I did the mouting screws up too tight

Yeah the mounting kit page said it might need a little off, was wondering how much as ill probably be using it in my CNC box, the 1550p has the fire button from a Cloupor mini which i love, but dont have another one spare.

I probably took about 0.5mm off in total.

It also depended on where I positioned the wiring for the Battery sled and 510 as they would bend/lift the board slightly

Anyone got any opinions on the £1 eliquid range? Since getting the subtank mini I'm going through silly amounts of juice so could do with a cheap juice as its getting to be very expensive
