Only con I will give it is that the max nicotine strength they make is 6mg/ml. Took 6 days to arrive from America.

Wish my velocity would arrive as I bet it will taste immense in a dripper. Aroma wise it's similar to PG Hype from AVE but the taste notes are much more fruitier. The other flavours I got smell divine too. Whoever said vaping doesn't give you pleasure? :p
 
Got more of the American desire Liberty in the post. Might have to try the DV bacon for laughs!

I am a bit confused about mech mods, can you control the V/W input like normal box mods? Seen a few that look quite nice. That goblin mini looks cool but really unsure if having that type would suit me. I have a Subtank Nano at the moment and only used a Nautilus Mini before that.

I may be wrong but I think you'll need the 3ml chimney top section to use the 3ml glass tank too :)

Make sure to order the velocity deck (at least one of mine is at the post office!!) too as it look a far far easier to build on.

It comes with a fitted 1.6 ohm coil aparantly and a 1.8 ohm spare (I also got a 5 pack of 1.8 ohm , just in case)
On my istick, it allowed me to push to 38W, it's displaying 7.99V and the resistance at 1.68 ohm
but I had a feeling I'm getting a slightly burned taste, so I went down to 30W , 7.09V

I've read on a seller site the specs for the coils are:
1.6ohm (3.3v-5.0v)
1.8ohm (3.3v-6.0v)

so, my question is, am I pushing it by going 30W , 7.09V ? should I go lower to mach the specs?

and also, I've been reading about rebuilding the coils on this to sub ohm (I know this is not a rebuildable but there are youtube videos on how to do it)
what's your take on that, is it worth going sub ohm on these? (taste wise, financially I presume it does make sense)

Blimey!
The most I vape the BVC coils at is 15W. That's where the best balance of vapour and flavour is. It starts getting burnt at 20W so I can't imagine how foul 30W must taste.

If you want to blow clouds, get a Triton or something that's designed for high W.
 
Wow 7v is very high for a nautilus BVC IMHO, I never liked putting more than 5v through them as it would burn, that's about 16 watts on the 1.6 or 14 watts on the 1.8.

Ordered the 3 and 2 post bundle kit and the 3ml top!
 
Raffle win arrived, happy with it considering it only set me back £5!

Have coupled it with a TFV4 and a new .2 coil which I'm bedding in.

Funny I bought the velocity deck at the same time but still haven't had it in the tank. Been enjoying it to much to be bothered with it. Might have a play tonight, after mixing up some more of the juice mix posted a while back with mango, tangerine and lychee.
 
Got the subtank mini and really pleased with it. Great for flavour and holds plenty of juice. Only using the 0.5 OCC coil but will rebuild with the RBA when that is shot. Great tank and my mouth to lung Kayfun is taking a bit of a backseat with these sweet tanks of late.

Switching between the Delta II, the Billow V2, The Triton Aspire and now the Subtank mini. It is great to have some decent tanks with different flavours to keep swapping and changing.

I love swapping between tanks. I find it keeps me interested more than just changing flavour would.

In my currently active and in-use list is:

Velocity RDA, Aspire Triton, Uwell Crown, Steam Crave Aromamizer, Cthulhu v2, Kayfun V4, and a UTA2 clone.

Got tons of other tanks but don't use any of them any more. Probably ought to put them up for sale really as there's quite a few that are still current and wanted.

I'm only desperate to use the v deck for the room, I find 3 post decks quite awkward (personal preference) on a smaller deck, perks of having big hands :p

Get the rba+ in Greg it's a magnitude better then the occ coils.


Edit: D2 is fine, just thrown a nickel build in and all is well, the screw holding the positive post on the CV2 dual deck however had randomly worked its self loose, this thing is determined to work its way into the bin.

I have a slight problem with the Billow v2

High VG juices it has no wicking problems, but when it comes to Snake Oil from TMAX I get dry hits. No idea why. The cotton Muji isn't in tight, I've tried air holes fully open and on the lowest size to get a tighter draw and vacuum and after a few tokes it gets dry again.

Excited! I tend to use Ti wire in all mine now, I did make up some 36/26 clapton Kanthal in the velocity and it was smart, may order some premade clapton to experiment.

What ID are people using on the aromamizer, does 3mm fit ok?

For a tank it has a silly amount of clearance for building, 3mm should be fine, might even fit 4mm at a push! I've been using 2-2.5mm in most of the builds I've done with it.
 
Student bursary came in, so I went a bit mad!

DIY juice:
250ml 72mg nic - way more than I need but the smallest bottle darkstar do, plus it's super cheap, cheaper than wholesale at the shop I worked at.
500ml VG - could get more but the shop stock it.
bubblegum 30ml, blueberry wild 30ml, double choc dark 30ml, strawberry, raspberry, lime, kiwi, caramel, vanilla, DX bavarian cream, mango, green tea, honey, cinnamon, and some others I forget, all TFA 10mls.

10m spools of wire in 28, 26, 24, 22 AWG, clapton 32 around 24AWG, twisted 2 wraps 24AWG and three wraps 28AWG, 10 pads KGD cotton

EHPro Veritas RDA clone (first RDA!) + a different drip tip. Did a fair amount of research on this, I like the look of the velocity deck for building, but flavour and lack of leaking are my priorities, so that can come later.

Should be stocked for the next century or so :D

Just realised I forgot bottles though. Will be fine, anyone that wants a mix off me usually comes to me with an empty bottle anyway.
 
Hit the sweet spot with the aromamizer this morning, 7 wraps of 24awg, just under 3mm ID (bit measures around 2.8mm) 0.35ohm, slightly raised coils, very light muji wick, sitting at 55w, needs airflow wide open absolutely immense flavour and production, to the point it's making my mouth water. Going to have to get the 6ml ordered.
 
I've been using my Velocity clone and Clapton coil for a few days now, gotta say it's so much better than my Mutation X v4. Having a much larger juice well makes all the difference to me.

I'm gonna give it a few days and if I'm still enjoying it then I'll get an authentic Velocity.
