I've just got an e-cig to help me quit smoking. What flavours can people recommend to get? I have a pink lemonade one at the moment, but it's a wee bit sharp. A mate has one called Captain Custard which is pretty good.
 
Assuming you have magnets in the top and bottom of the door at the back, the how bout small magnets in the curve above the chip, and magnets in the side edge of the door where it will meet?

The material on that part of the enclosure and on the lid are only 2mm so not really enough depth for magnets. Instead I'll add a small ledge to the door so it tucks under the ledge at the front of the enclose above the chip,that will stop that end falling out and also position things. Will pop a small cutout at the rear of the door so you can get a fingernail in go lift the lid. Oh and Shapeways are complaining about "thin" walls on the extrusions for the magnet holes
 
Thats a good idea, thats how my m8 did his printed box..
Yeah they dont like printing less than 1.6 or 2mm? thick for strenght reasons i think.

Wicking wise, very fortunately I recently invested in the grey haze tool kit (coil master V1 DIY), the thin angled tweezers bundled in were a life saver for pulling the cotton through and splitting it over the deck. Chugging away at 60w, airflow wide open, seems to be wicking fine :)

Also, I wouldn't say the vape is any better then horizontal coils, certainly denser, but not much in it tbh. I may rebuild and do a 4/5 wrap with some clapton and see what I end up with.

Nice work! Will be doing the same once I'm comfortable the wicking has been nailed.

Have had another go, have 2 big fat coils in there over a 2.5mm drill bit coming out at 0.5 ohm. Snipped the wick just enough to comfortably cover the feed holes with nothing unnecessary left over, and voila, the atty has come to life! 40W @ 0.5ohm at the moment, what a beautiful vape with the holes wide open :)
 
I rebuilt the rba in the uwell crown with a single twisted coil and i think its better flavour and smoother than the dual twisted verticals in the Aromamizer, i think the aromamizer was better with standard dual horizontals, but it def wicks much better with the verticals.
 
What flavour enhancers do people use in their diy mixes? I have just ordered some pa smooth, m&p pucker, sour and koolaid and have some em. Would love to crack the fizzy effect at some point but that seems to be one of the hardest things to do diy.
 
Fancied some of the newer tech to replace my aging taifun so got myself an aromamizer and 13 heavens 9 hells RDA.

It seems airy vapes is the new way of doing things. I haven't used lung inhale devices before and they took a bit of getting used to. I may need to knock myself down from 18mg as they don't half have a kick on the now.

Aromamizer is a steal at that price.
 
Scotty, I would definitely drop your nic level for lung inhales, 18mg will knock your socks off after a while, nic overdose, I think most of us that lung inhale are only using 6mg nic levels.

My two favourite tanks right now are the Armomamizer and the Uwell Crown.

0.7mm on Shapeways so I'll stick with that so I can put I can put them on once I've prototyped it in case anyone else wants one

Not posted in here in a bit... it's coming up to my one year of vaping and many, many pounds spent. lol

My one week old GP spheriod v4, 510 pin has stripped itself, so it's not staying in but still making contact so it's still working. But with the excellent customer service of GP/VapourArt they are sending me a replacement pin, foc.

My SVB should be sent out today, and my SX Vapor flask should be later on today also...

I need to start thinking of moving some stuff on.. as I have a one or two deals in the pipeline.. In gerenal I'm happy with the atties and mods that I have now (or that's coming), the only thing that I'm even considering is the VG mini nano..

Should have the svb tomorrow... and the flask on saturday, it "should" be getting sent out later today but it's coming from Amsterdam..

So I'm pretty much done with buying for the forseeable future. lol
 
LOL, ill bet, thats an expensive haul your getting... very nice.

Im hoping to get my second Armomamizer today and on its way to me is the Hotcig DX200 DNA200 mod, after that ive a DNA200 chip at home waiting to find a home, just need to sort out a box for it, gonna be a dual 18650 again.

Think ill then need to look at maybe selling on my DNA40 mods, but most are home made so not sure there would be any interest, ive had my Esquared DNA40 on UKVapers for 2 weeks and other than low offers, not had much interest in it...

My vapemail arrived today, a bag of 5 juice samples from Grizwalds and from Elegant Vapour, my Aromamizer... which looks shockingly like a Uwell Crown LOL
Ive sent them an email...

Best to just call into a shop if possible.
My local shop let me try quite a few.
I'm not overly keen on the ones I picked though as quick toot in the store doesn't give you long enough really to make a decision....it may taste ok at first but then not so good after a half a day.
Also some juices seem to be like marmite, love em or hate em.
May be a good idea to try small sample packs until you settle on some.

It was cheap for a zero... lol
DNA30 comes with damascus sleeve, bogat and two others.
Right place, right time.. had to be done and will certainly get my cash back if and when I sell it.
