Well im not sure what to do anymore, something im doing wrong for sure i reckon, while ive been typing on here i hadnt used it, removed atty and selected new coil, 0.20 again...now it hits temp limit within around 2 secs and cuts down to nothing even at 30w its not vapable at all...oh its like genny attys all over again crikey.
 
Do you have another or know anyone with a DNA40 mod that you can test your atty on to see if its your mod causing the issue?

Also, you can run TI coils in normal power mode, start with very low watts and see how it performs... you may have either an atty not suitable for temp control or a bad DNA chip.
 
No this is my one and only DNA40 mod, others are 30's and i have no friends who vape the same sort of gear i do, they all use egos and kanger pro tanks and such, despite many attempts of converting them lol.

Thing is, this mod has been sent back to where i bought it from and they checked it out with TC and said it was working perfectly so im not entirely sure, but i had this issue with NI200 when i first got the mod, so maybe its me or the SquapeRS...but many people use one with no issues.

2 Mins recoiled with kanthal and im back to vaping albeit not as good as it could be. Not sure if i should knock TC on the head and forget it.

You'll enjoy the D2, have finally put my trusty out and about istick 40W, and have replaced it with the D2 for the same purpose. The iStick now falls into the backup section.

As tweak said, they've just finished a holiday, currently waiting on an order myself which left china on the 4th, hopefully with me over the next couple of days. Ordered 10 days ago now.
 
@KnightStalker - I have the same problems with pre made nickel vapourshark coils on the VT40 so i don't think its just you mate. Seems to be something wrong with the mod/chip.

I've given up on it and gone to power mode instead with my velocity in dual coil kanthal mode. Will try this temp malarky on the D2 when it arrives

Just ordered the V2 Subtank, the Sluricane mix TommyV posted last page and the Unicorn Milk flavours.

200ml of VPG 3ml as I'm going to drop 6ml now.

Should be a nice vape mail tomorrow.

Having smashed through my 10ml bottle of relooped in a day, I've bought 1ltr concentrates worth of a 'looper' clone for £23.
Check out 'Vapour Boss' on facebook, kind of a group buy thing.
They are currently doing Strawberry yoghurt, unicorn milk (the leaked version), and looper.

They basically bottle up X amount of each concentrate needed and send it out. I went for the 50mlx5 option on the required concentrates;

With ni200 on the VT40 I vape at 230C / 40W. That seems to be a good temperature for most ni200 coils. With ti I drop it down to 180C due to the lower TCR and the DNA40 not being able to deal with it properly.
 
Been using a Subtank mini for some time now and it's been fine. Leaks now and again but I tolerated it. I bought some new 1.2 coils (tried building my own but failed badly so stuck to off the shelf) the coils are the vertical coils and I've had problems with almost constant leaking. It's also made the smoke very harsh.

TommyV I can't find that group. I have lots of premade eliquid atm but still would like to research into that so I can experiment this week with making DIY liquid. How does the group work? Do they clone a eliquid recipie and sell the concentrates to make it all? Or do they premake it for you? I didn't quite understand all that Unicorn, Looper business. :confused:

Also that syringe you mentioned, ones that are accurate to 0.01ml seem to be £50. :confused: :confused:

Afaik rip is testing the aromamizer 3ml at the moment too, so he should be able to draw fair comparison, though iirc you could buy the 3ml and 6ml aromamizer and have a night out for the cost of a genuine haze :p

My syringe cost about 30p. It goes from 1ml upto 10ml. Shirley that's all you need for mixing? Unless you are going uber technical.

I'm luckily if when the mix says 8.5% that I can get 8.5ml in per 100 without dropping/spilling any.

Ill have another go at it i think at some point, its just odd that some people can always get it working while others like me struggle to get it going.

And im glad you have a similar problem, so far this is with Ni200, Nife30 and Titanium it just doesnt behave - Dont have another atty to try them on so stuck with the Squape RS.

This is how it works;
- Between the group and the admins, they take a DIY flavour mix they know to be good.
- The admins (shopowners themselves), buy an absolute heap of the concentrates required to make said mix, acting as a bit of a 'group buy' catalyst
- They then send out the concentrates to the people who have paid for them
- They are much cheaper than buying multiple amount of smaller quantities from even the cheapest online concentrate retailers
- Participants are happy as they are getting cheap concentrates, allowing to make large amount of the flavour at minimal cost
- The shop/admins are happy as they have also bought into the group buy, and sell their juice at retail value for those who don't mix out on the interwebs

win/win :D I'll ofcourse report back on the results of the transaction itself (I've paid, yet to take delivery), and the actual recipe itself.


Now, the only drawback of this is that I'm getting 50ml of each concentrate, but one of the flavours only needs 1%, but another one at 5%. The positive of this is that I'll have loads left over of the ones that need lower %'s, for other mixes.

Twirly, using 1ml syringes I have, there are 0.1ml increments, inbetween these are there are 0.01ml increments. Only cost a few pence, like heck would I pay 50 beans for a synringe :p

Aromamiser has arrived, fantastic build quality. Will give it a good clean tonight and start out with 2x vertical single wire coils to start out.
