Got mesel a Kanger Subox Mini kit. I love it, it's so much better than a cheap pen one. Loads more vape and you get loads more flavour from your juice. Really impressed with it. Only drawback is I can't have cheeky vapes in the office because of the great plume that comes up:D

I got one today too. Very impressed. It's incredible how much the technology has come on in the 4.5 years I've been vaping.

I must admit its either this kit or the aspire one I tell my friend to buy who have just started vaping.

Forget the crappy ones from the market, they will just annoy you and put you off vaping.

Look up stealth vaping :) Pretty much a double inhale (in hale again after you take the toke) and holding it longer in the lungs.

Got a Koopor Mini and in the vape mail is a lemo 2 tank, coil pen thing, battery and charger.
Next up is some wire and wick and maybe an evil monk rda for fun. Will try to put up a picture of it all built up. Delving into the dark side! Might even try the temp coils!

Had some decent vapemail today;

IPV D2 skins
Drip tips
2x Subtank mini bases
2x Subtank mini bellcaps
Kennedy V2 RDA
Hexohm "v3" clone

Have rebuilt both subtanks with their new shells and they really are the most flavoursome tank I've used.

The Hexohm really has some power to it, a cool voltmeter and 'potentiometer' I believe it's called, very nifty.

The kennedy is amazing too, awesome flavour!!

Looper has arrived at flavour boss, will post results once it's arrived, brewed, and steeped!

Anyone running a custom sx350 mini j mod and want to upgrade their firmware, will need to download the software and firmware directly from the yihi chip site. It's different from the one for the sx mini m mod.

Guys, I'm not really getting on well with this vaping stuff.

I've been trying TC for a week or so now and, even though I get a lovely smooth toke, I just don't get enough flavour from the juice as I'd expect. I have to take temps to ~300c to get a nice enough flavour but it's still not great.

So I've gone back to a normal sub ohm coil and even though the coil is rated 35-45w I get spitting at anything above 20w. I have to go down to 14w to have anything as smooth as with TC but I don't think that's right. I've cleaned my tanks, made sure everything is screwed in nicely and not too tight but not leaking etc. still spits at higher wattage

If I go back to my nautilus on a 1.8 (I think) I get the best flavour but not enough of a hit/volume of cloud. And as I have a deep long breath I much prefer straight to lung rather than sucking it out.

I'm using quality juice, Elements, Space Jam, Vamp Vape. All higher VG than PG.

Using TC40W iStick with a TC coil in an Aspire Triton or a normal coil in a Melo tank.

What am I doing wrong?? Please help!

Is it my technique? Or my equipment? I don't mind buying stuff no matter what the cost, I just want a nice flavourful vape capable of smooth, sustained, high volume hits, with no spitting.

IPV D2 and the Uwell Crown would be worth a try.

It's been my go to tank since I bought it. Brilliant flavour and vapour production with the stock coils and the RTA section.

I would also recommend the Uwell Crown if you want flavour and clouds and replaceable coil heads, but if you want a really good vape but an easy to build atty... the Armomamizer with the Velocity deck, build and put in a couple of Dual twisted 26awg Titanium coils and rayon wick and fire that puppy up... amazing vape.

Bored before work so thought I would try a fused Clapton, 4 turns of 2x 26awg core claptoned with 32awg @.15 ohm firing at 50w. Just fits in the epoch d1 tank, tastes lovely though could do with another 10-15w

Thanks all, appreciated :)

Researching the Uwell Crown turns up excellent reviews, I will definitely give it a go.

In regards to TC, do you guys notice a drop in flavour when using TC coils?

As far as building my own, I may look into it eventually but it's finding the time to do anything at all these days which is hard. Thanks though :)

If I'm going for another mod, is 75w in the IPV D2 "future proof" enough? I also notice it is not a micro usb charger port. Is it worth finding a TC 100/150w+ mod? Any recomendations on a decent one, or brands etc.?

Thanks again :)

People have found Nickel can mute the flavour in TC set up. Titanium is the way to go with TC; better flavour and a lot easier to work with!

I have the IPV D2 and it's a great little mod. It has more than enough power for me but I only ever use single coils.

Evic Mini I hear gets good reviews. Then there are any DNA200 mod. Others will be along to help you with more mods though.

Another vote for titanium wire for TC, NI200 just never satisfied me enough on flavour or heat of vape, TI is better but the Stainless Steel Coils in the Uwell Crown might be better again so i may try SS wire next in my rebuildables.
For single wire, single coils, 75w in the D2 is plenty, but if you go for the Crown with the SS coils then you could use more power if you had it, also if you try twisted wire coils, there are plenty of China mods that will claim higher, but stick with either Yihi or Evolv chips, the DNA200 is my go to mod and i love the power and versatility it has with Any wire, no other chip has as yet.

SNIP

Thats an impressive coil, not tried anything that exotic as yet, im just loving the twisted coils, i can stuff 75w through them no problem...

Just got my Hotcig DX200 from FT... got it on the supplied balance charger at the moment as it was not charging via USB.. will put up pictures later if its working...

what wire are you using? did you give the wire a good clean before building? Ti (not sure about Ni) has graphite lubricant.

Ok, one hour or less on the supplied balance charger and boom, the Hotcig DX200 is alive and well:

And next to my 1550p DNA200, dual18650:

New firmware for the SX-Mini is available now.

It enables adjustable TCR from 0.0005 to 0.0070 meaning that we can do TC with SS or anything else that has a TCR in that range.
Also enables rest temp adjustment so you can choose what temp your coil is at when you lock it in. Useful on those cold mornings I guess.

Running it now and vaping in TC mode with stock Aspire Triton SS coils. Working like a charm.

One less reason for me to need a DNA200 device.
