New firmware for the SX-Mini is available now.

It enables adjustable TCR from 0.0005 to 0.0070 meaning that we can do TC with SS or anything else that has a TCR in that range.
Also enables rest temp adjustment so you can choose what temp your coil is at when you lock it in. Useful on those cold mornings I guess.

Running it now and vaping in TC mode with stock Aspire Triton SS coils. Working like a charm.

One less reason for me to need a DNA200 device.

Nice one.

Should mean there is a firmware coming for my 'full fat' Dual SX too.

Velocity Mini arrived today. It's such a better size compared to the original!

OBS Crius RTA ordered. I wanted a white RTA to match my Evic VTC (which still hasn't bloody arrived from GearBest yet)

Let me know how you get on with the Crius. I've heard on the latest batch they're updating it to accept standard 510 DT's and the deck has larger post holes as they're currently only about 1-2mm.

Hmm, bit of browsing today and i'm debating a kanger evod with kanger vv battery, something a little stealthier and hopefully resistant to knocks than the nautilus.

As tough as the nautilis is, i just dont have the confidence to throw it in the pocket of my jeans when working outdoors, or taking it onto the airsofting field.

Anyone got any reccomendations for something like this? A rough and tumble e cig to get me off the smokes 24/7?

You can get metal tanks for the nautilus, same capacity but stronger than straight glass...
The Kanger wont compare on flavour.

So maybe a nautilis mini with a metal tank might be good? Size is a partial consideration, plus having a spare. Not sure on batteries though (want just a stick rather than a massive box)

Are nautilis and nautilis mini heads compatible? Would be handy for keeping just one stock of spares

Been ages since i use a nautilus, but if i recall, the nautilus and mini can both use the BVC coil heads.

As for a mod, if you want regulated but small and not so boxy, look at the istick 30w, 40w or 60w... make for a good stealth mod :)

Fair enough, i'll maybe go that route, but seeing as i've got the 50w big box istick and i only ever use 10 might as well just get the 30w.

The 30w is still the best for having the least trouble.

Yeah, only downside really is i dislike carbon fibre on stuff, looks tacky, but i suppose this is meant to be a cheap but not awful rough and tumble rig so i can deal with that.

Turns out heads are compatible, so nautilis it is, glad i asked as i was under the impression the kanger was better. I'm still relatively new to this so i've yet to establish proper product grading in my mind.

I picked up a bottle of Suicide Bunny OB after trying it on a tester Clearo... got it in the Armomamizer with my dual twisted TI coils and its a lovely flavourful vape, far nicer then Mothers Milks from Suicide Bunny, much smother and creamier.

Been using the 'scottish roll' wicking method in my UTA. Must say I am impressed. i don't think the flavour is that much better if at all, maybe a bit? However the wick seems to be lasting a lot longer.

I am surprised out how well it wicks as well, with even high VG juices.

I am not a fan of dripping so probably not getting its full potential.

I also poked a fine needle thought the center along the coil (caught a comment somewhere), no idea if this adds anything but I guess it makes a little juice channel through the center? Or at least a less compact route.

Picked up another 10ml of juice today - Stars and Stripes Vanilla Custard 70/30VG.
Taste is nice but a little faint.
Got fed up of burnt hits with the Applejax.
Also bought 4 new 1.8ohm BVC coils - although the mod states they are 2ohm.
Currently vaping at 10w on second to largest hole and it's good.

What's the highest VG ratio you can vape effectively with the Nautilus Mini?

I tend to have around 10 long draws on it then leave it for an hour or so.

It can depend on the juice you use and mix ratio, I have some max vg that's like syrup and some max vg that's not far from 50/50 viscosity, I wouldn't go much over 70/30 with the horizontal sub tank coils, rba takes the thickest I have thought.

Vapegeek have the Silver and Black EFusion DNA200 mods in stock, im sure they wont last long, this is possibly one of, if not the best DNA200 mod from China currently, the 1300mAh battery has been confirmed and true, unlike the HCigar which claims 1300 but is only about 1000mAh.

You can get a few pound off using code POTV5.

Strangely the battery is only accessible via peeling the carbon sticker off to reveal the screws. Not sure why when it is advertised as user replaceable battery.

I dont think i need a dna 200 one, whats the VT 40 box mod - Hcigar like?

By all accounts the VT40 is a good and solid mod, the chip is a genuine DNA40 so the same performance as any other DNA40 device.

I used to think 40w was enough until i got the Armomamizer and Uwell Crown tanks, now 40w is the Minimum i can even use my tanks at lol
