Well i now have one less mod, just sold my beloved Esquared DNA40 :( sad to see it go, but with the DNA200 and the Aromamizer's and dual twisted coils, 40w is not enough power... might invest in an Efusion DNA200 to replace it though, once there is stock at Vapegeek.

Having trouble with these ni200 Crown coils. At 75w/450F it only seems to get up to temp, and warm on the 1st hit. After that it stays cool and there's not much flavour. I'm suspecting the juice, it's the same juice that i get dry hits on with the 0.5 and 0.25 coils. If the juice doesn't wick properly will the coil get too hot and then the device turns off the power?

Yes, it will limit if it can't wick properly.
What juice is it? I'm running max VG in my Crown and it never dry hits. Mainly Jax stuff which is extremely thick and goopy.

It's a peach juice called Sweet Leaf by a new company called Liquid State. They say it's 80/20 but i don't think it's the VG ratio, maybe the high sugar content or something. I have other 80/20 juices which can be chain vaped 24/7 in the Crown fine.

The crown i find stops wicking as well once the juice level lowers, i find just loosening the top cap a little for a second helps, it seams to be getting an air lock i think, though my m8 says his is fine.. but i can feel the pressure release when i do this trick.

Also, when wicking, i cut the tails so they just touch the deck, but then trim the access off the sides so its a rectangular shape, then fluff the tails with a pointy object like tweezer tips or a tiny allen key, then push on the top cap and juice it up and hold it up to a light source and look down through the top cap to see if i can see any light showing through the wick, if there is, start again as it will leak if you can see light.

My stock Ni200 coil lasted about 3 days before flavour and vapour production fell off massively with the crown, and the 0.5ohm SS coil to be fair. That was about 4 tanks a day of a very sweet Lychee Yoghurt juice

Just recoiled the Crown RBA with Ti using the "Scottish roll" wicking method, about to do the Lemo2 as well, lets see if it lives up to the hype.

I got a orange lychee and papaya juice from a local vender a few times, was a lovely juice but his mixes were so inconsistent it wasnt worth the hassle.

My favourite ADV is a mixture of coconut, vannila and a little fruit salad to sweeten it, i can vape it till the cows come home.
I keep trying other juices but always go back to it as its so smooth.
Every other juice it try either makes me cough or dries my throat out, which ruins vaping for me, ive loved some like i bought 3 bottles of treasure island juice after trying it on a m8s triton and buying first bottle, but after the first bottle it stopped being nice and ive struggled to get through the second bottle and dont know why i have this issue.

had an absolute mare just trying to recoil/wick my aromamiser tonight, 4 attempts later just stuck 2 twisted Ti coils coming out at .11, and voila I've got a decent vape.

Very frustrating.

ive only built and wicked the aromamizer four times, three builds in one tank and once in another, not had much trouble, the very first one i did had too much wick, but the second and third are perfect, ive had both at 70 watts and no dry hits and not hitting the 230c temp limit so no throttling so its wicking really well, easiest tanks ive ever built, but then i recently started wicking a little differently, taking a bit more time to do them, but its paying off, even in my crown RBA too..

Scottish Roll is working nice on the Crown RBA, I just don't think its an RBA that'll take big power without twisted or claptons.

With a simple .39 26ga Ti I'm hitting it with 60w preheat 5 punch and it dropping to around 30w to maintain 450F

This Texas weather is kicking the crap out of my tc40, not taking much for the mod to get hot and battery level to drop off. Will have to get hunting for a DNA200 mod this week. Want the vapour shark but finding anyone selling with stock is impossible.

Yeah twisted is the key with the crown, i have a twisted TI coil in mine, 2x 26awg, 5 wraps and 0.14ohms, currently hitting it with 40w and not even getting to temp limit or throttling, i can hit it with 60w at least before it even flickers on the wattage... thats with 60 or 70w pre heat and 6.5 punch.

Not tried the scottish roll as i use Rayon, but i fluff the rayon a little before i roll it and force it through the coils tight, then trim and cut the tails to thin them down to about half the thickness and fluff them out before pushing to the deck, working a treat so far, did the same style with the aromamizers and they are taking over 70w before starting to think about throttling.

At least theres hope in the US, no sign of the VS or hana in the uk still... such a slow roll out.. even the china mods are scarce, think its to do with a lack of screen supplies..

Got a few burnt hits today with the Apple Jax.
Not sure why, possibly a dodgy coil as everything was ok earlier then it just started happening, although the coil was the spare from the nautilus box.
Put the other coil back in and swapped juice back to the VP watermelon for now.
Going to have to buy some spare coils.
