Don't get me wrong, with how cool it is I think it could quite easily manage another 20-30w and still be cool enough to manage.

Yip vaping beautifully, amazing how much flavour these exotic coils unlock, also amazing how much juice they drink but I suppose the two go hand in hand.
Really need to go ahead and order a dna200 device before I try any more complex builds. I have no interest in temp control, I really don't enjoy the vape half as much as straight kanthal and rarely get any dry hits so it isn't needed. The preheat will be nice though. I did have a better experience with a kanthal Claptond with ni200, vape was warmer but still lacked.

If you see how they work then it explains why they go through juice very fast. This cool video shows how.

Ideally yes, locking the resistance (when cold/fresh/room temp) tells the chip what the resistance is at base, so the temperature is calculated correctly using the change in resistance as the coil heats up. Not locking it can cause everything to become 'shifted' so to speak, so the mod thinks 25°C is actually, say, 75°C, meaning 200°C actually only heats to 150°C, and this will change over time as you use it, so you'll get a very inconsistent vape.

Doh...this must be the reason TC doesnt work for me at all lol ive not used the resistance lock at all, feel like a numpty.
So ill try the Ti wire again this evening and lock the cold resistance and ill post back and let you all know how i got on.

Noooooo at terminal 5, no smoking .Vaping, anything, 18 hours without sweet sweet nicotine

Oops! Last time I was at T5 a few weeks ago I planked myself down on one of those comfy couches at the gates and vaped away for ages waiting on my delayed flight. Didn't have any grief from anyone for doing it, turns out I could have got myself in bother :D.

Yeh I want to try the alien wire, must pick up a new rda with larger post holes though, this latest coil barely fits through, you can feel it scraping the sides as it goes.

New RDA and a dna 200 along with a crap load of wire is my next order now I have a ton of juice steeping away.

Very nice Slinxy, the two look great and almost kinds match each other :)

I had a major brain whoops this morning, i was up from 5.30 yesterday as i had to go back in to work at 2200 to shutdown the servers and switches in the comms room for a new UPS to be installed... anyhoo, got home and had 2 hour kip, then woke an had a vap.. weak battery.. so took out the two 18650's and inserted two fresh charged ones... THE WRONG WAY AROUND!!

Now ive done this twice before on the DNA200 ad its survived... but this time the onboard fuse blew :(
Escribe sees it ok via USB but it would not power up with the 18650's :( :(

Luckily I had a spare DNA200 chip, so ripped the box apart and desoldered the wires and soldered them to the new chip and BOOM... Tweaks DNA200 is alive again... thank god :P

If you want to try repairing I have a "dead" board here with a good fuse. I managed to pull the solder pads off when I desoldered the balance port when I went back to 18650s from the Lipo

Cheers Froz :)... but once i got the board out i could see the B- pad was near torn off the board so i might just return it to Evolv for replacement, besides, those fuses are Tiny... don't think my shaky hands could do that job lol

Right now im just glad to have a working mod again because that dual twisted TI i put in the Aromamizer is taking 70w without a problem or hitting temp and its chucking so well and Nothing i have can run that power bar my DNA200... i was getting withdrawal as i only had DNA40 mods with either a Lemo 2 of TFV4 and neither can do over 35w or produce the taste and clouds this Aromamizer build is giving me...
Cant wait for the DX200 to arrive so i have a backup, then ill hold out to by a better Lipo mod in the future, though i have made contact with a guy at Hotcig to purchase spare Lipos for the DX200, so that might be an option as they are in a metal case so safer to carry a spare.

Aromamiser drip tip - does anyone find the o-ring just terrible? I can lift it right with very little resistance. Have tried the other o-rings to no avail.

Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone have any tips?

Haven't really been bothered as I've been using another one, but with 4 holes open, I like the very slight resistance it gives on the pull.

Picked up some Epic Juice - Apple Jax earlier today as I fancied something a little spicier than my others.
Quite a nice flavour tbh, just trying to find the right wattage setting to my liking.
I tried it on 19w but the tip feels like it gets quite hot.

The guy in the shop let me try his set up and I was amazed at how much difference there is with a proper bit of kit.

Got any info on returning boards to Evolv. Might be worth taking the chance and seeing if they'll replace mine

Use the contact form linked below, ive used it before when i broke the screen on my DNA40, sent the board and screen to them for repair and a few weeks later a brand new board and screen was returned to me, this cost me a total of £11 dollars, so give it a try, send them a message detailing what you know and they should reply with a paypal payment and address details to return it.

Ended up taking my self to the toilets and avoiding making much steam :D

I have not had a smoke for a week. Was smoking around 30 a day. I had gradually worked up to this amount over the last 25 years since I started out on this path by smoking other substances in my college years.

Would like to thank the posters on here for Informing me on the subject of vapeing. I ordered an Aspire CF kit from ukecigs with some tobacco liquid and it arrived last saturday. on the first try I did not like it one bit but after a quick google I found a local Totally wicked shop so I popped in and was amazed that I could try out different e-liquids in the shop till I found one with the right flavour and nicotine strength for me.

Still get the odd time where I feel like I want a proper smoke but frequency of this has reduced over the 1st week.

Have also brought a Curve kit from totally wicked so I have 2 devices incase 1 stops working as I really do not want to buy any more Cigs.

I will be saving around £250 a month by swapping to vapeing plus health benifits. So for anyone looking to use vapeing to quit the ciggies etc the advice I would give is not to order the 1st kit online but to get into a local vapeing shop if you can and find a liquid and device that you suits you.

TFA blueberry extra 8%
TFA blueberry wild 4%
Capella creamy yogurt 8%
TFA DX bavarien cream 3%
Ethyl maltol 3%

3 days in and it's starting to get a real creamy taste, I don't think it will make the full steep :D

Pretty high on the EM? I normally see it quoted around 1%.

MIxed the Boss Reserve Clone last night, its fairly close but not exact, given its around a 9 flavour recipe it probably needs a long steep

Don't know but I like it so I wont be messing too much, I'm wondering if a little custard instead of such a high yogurt may help bring through a thicker cream but other than that I'm close to mixing a 500ml batch to give it a chance to steep properly.

Take O-ring off, wrap some sewing thread in the slot a few times, refit o-ring and try again, repeat til it fits.

Half a percent of FA Vienna Cream and Fresh Cream each should impart some extra creaminess
