Ive had mine for about 3 weeks. I flashed the latest firmware when i set it up and its been fine for me?

I unlocked ss and ti but not tried either yet. What TC issues are you having?

Edit: just seen on SMOKs site theres a new update for it. Increases power to 180w and fixes some app issues.

Tc is odd, its fine for ages, then it will be real weak vape, Put atomiser on another tc mod and it works fine. on newest firmware too.

Seems if i use the app, it messes up sooner. Evic VTC Mini got update to 75w today too, love that little device.

Vt200 $120, or £77 found locally, going to grab one tomorrow :D

Choices are tough, same place has the ML class due in stock next week, my visit to ecig city is going to be expensive either way :o

On sale apparently down from $169, web store shows only stock complete with a cyclone or tfv4 tank for $149, but still I'm not going to argue with sampling another tank for that price on a DNA200 mod. Time will tell, going there tomorrow morning to see what's actually in stock, hopefully they have a good juice sampling facility too as they stock an absolute shed load.

I see Mr Busardo has his first DNA200 video up.

Copying and pasting my views that I posted elsewhere.. :)

--------
I've watched the video last night.. At the moment (knowing this is part one), it just looks like a more powerful and a better working version of the DNA40 (which is good) so if size and mod design isn't an issue, I don't see the point of getting a 40 when you can get the 200.. apart from the abilty of swapping batteries.

Nothing is really jumping out at me, making me think I must have this item. I'm more than happy with the yihi sx j chip in terms of vape, power and features.

Of course this can all change with Evolv Strikes Back and Return of the DNA.. but having to work with computers all day, and the same reason why I console game rather than game on a PC rig. I can't see myself being drawn in by the software features, mainly just cos I don't want to be ******* about on a PC to get something working (even if it's to get it better) when I spent all day doing it. Once in a while is ok.

I might get a shark or a hana 200 later when it's cheap just to have a play or if I get green eye'd/wanting something bad enough.. but at the moment I don't want it or do I need it. :)
-------------

Of course if someone wants to borrow me their dna200 mod for me to have a play and prove myself wrong, I won't say no.

My thoughts are similar to yours Slinxy.
I was fairly keen to pull the trigger on a DNA200 device until yesterday when the new FW for the SX-Mini came out. I now have the ability to use whatever material I want in TC mode so the big draw of the DNA200 for me is now a non-issue.
If anything the new FW for the SX has made me want to buy another SX-Mini instead - although I will wait for the new ML device before I do so.
I just prefer the way that Yihi devices work. The menus and button combinations just make more sense to me.
Also, I'm still not comfortable carrying a LiPo battery in my pocket having seen what they can do in the RC world when things go wrong.

I was very shocked and happy that yihi had release that firmware, I was more expecting them that try stops the firmware for older models to encourage people to buy the new version, for them to support and do that; gets a very big tumbs up from me.

Having said that, I have recently brought two sx mini j mods knowing that there was a new one in the pipe, as even without the TCR settings on the chip, the chip is more than fine for me.

Silly as it sounds but I find the vape from a dna30 better than a dna40.

At the end of the day guys, as long as you are happy with your mods and enjoying your vape, then it does not matter what mod or atty you have, as long as your not smoking its all good :)

I have never used an SX chip other than the SX350, so have no idea how it vapes in TC, but i cant imagine it to be any better or worse than the DNA40 or 200, they do a similar job to achieve a similar goal, my only preference to the DNA line is based purely on aesthetics and menu.
The SX Mini is far from Mini at all (pet peeve), it looks like an evolution of the ZNA and the SX menu is horrible, having the profiles at the touch of a button but then having to hold it down to actually change your watts or in the SX case joules... bugs me, now the D2 on the other hand is what i would class as a mini mod and admit ive been really tempted by it.. but i know the UI would bug the life out of me, but the biggest issue i have with the SX is batteries, 75w on a single 18650 is nutts and there are few Dual 18650 variants unless you get into custom modders and that means FB groups and lists etc... too much hastle.

But as i said, as long as we all have a device/devices we like/love/enjoy and we are not smoking then each to their own and the future for mods is looking interesting as long as the TPD does not screw us over.

I think we need to see some dual 18650 DNA200s hit the market.

Having used mine with a Lipo and dual 18650s I'm not going to use the full 200w any time soon, but the features and consistency of the chip are what's doing it for me.

Providing my new enclosure turns out good once its printed I'll build another as a backup device and sell my 75w Sigelei

Check this out... a Triple 18650 DNA200, so you get your 18650's and 200w of POWAAAAARR!!!

Wish i had seen it before i ordered the EFusion, as i would have held out for it's release...
Oh well... might end up with 4 DNA200's LOL

Wonder what they're battery positioning looks like to get it that compact. I might have to fiddle around tomorrow and see how small I can keep my design with triple 18650s

I think Evolv missed a trick by not getting it to work with a single 18650. The 70 watts or below market is still the biggest and users won't be forced to carry dual battery mods.

The tag "mini" comes from the name of the chip, rather than the mod itself.. not that either of them is that small/mini in size.

Wattage/Joules adjustment on the chip on the mod aint that bad once you get used to it.. at lot of the time you can have it set to one wattage and change the power delivery mode (ie soft/standard/powerful...) to suit the mood of the time, of the time of the day. Power wise, it's just a tap of the other button to change to one of the five saved.. or then a tap of the other button start to change. Takes a bit to get used to; but my prefered menthod, rather that than use a PC.

The D2 has no profiles and no memory banks, it's totally strip down, so the up button will turn the power up and down; the power down. The only thing odd about it is the keylock.. power + up at the same time, but it's as basic as it comes now a days... might get a silver one. :)

Looks like the batteries are two side by side and the third positioned on top and between them, hence the triangular shape at the back.

The DNA200 wont work on a single 18650 battery due to the minimum required voltage to turn it on which is 5v :(

Damn Slinxy, i did not need to hear that about the D2... lol

My Efusion just arrived, smaller than i was expecting, very solid looking and feels good in the hand, just a little bigger than my 1550p Dual 18650 DNA200 :)

Well, so much for the Koopor Mini being upgradeable. It seems that Koopor want us to ship it to a distributor to get the update that fixes all of the (many) bugs with the device.

http://www.koopor.com/news/koopor-mini-firmware-upgrade.shtml

Makes me wonder what the point was of putting a USB port on the device that is marked as "only for upgrades".

I found that yesterday and posted on UKVapers about it, shocking service, but i dont use the kooper anymore, getting this FW might have saved it, but now its staying on the shelf.
