Sounds like you have an early subtank as it was a known issue in the early released versions.

Thanks to a post on UKV, realised Cigreen is in Ireland and im in the north, so ive pre ordered, £142 inc 6 HG2 batteries...
Hope i dont regret this... just need to sell the Efusion to make some cash back... i dont need 4 DNA200's lol

Hmm, but I was informed by the shop that mine is the subtank mini V2. I've got the receipt and could take it back to the shop. There is a complication though... I knocked the glass cylinder onto the floor tonight while cleaning the tank and it smashed, so I'm using the spare that came with it :rolleyes: :p

Should I still go back to the shop anyway and see if there's something they can do? Perhaps I don't have the V2 and this is as you say an early version issue.
 
Apparently, wrapping kanthal through the airholes at the base of the RBA works, so I've got 28g I can try it with.

So I lost my nautilus mini and ipow 2. What should I replace it with. I was having a lot of liquid flooding recently. I bought the itaste vv4, but that looked terrible with the nautilus mini.
 
Why do people rate Chef's Vapour so highly? I've bought a few of their flavours and all of them are disgusting.

Banoffee Cookie Dough. I can't taste banana, toffee, or cookie dough. All I can taste is a weird sort of lemon flavour and sugar.
Nice custard cream. Nice biscuits taste of mild coconut and vanilla. This doesn't at all. Just sort of biscuit and a weird lemon flavour.
Fruit loops. A weird sort of lemon flavour.
Virtual custard. Tastes like a more chemically version of GVC with hins ot - you guessed it - a weird lemon flavour.

So, from what I can tell is that if you love weird lemon flavour then Chef's blends are for you.

Weird, sounds like they've got lemon in their VG! Haven't tried any of their in house flavours, I just like them because they stock a massive range of concentrates.

Banoffee Cookie Dough was too sickly for me, but it tasted about right. Spotted dick and custard tasted nothing like it to me, yet I liked it. Hated all the other chefs vapour flavours though, some of which tasted nothing like their description or name. I speak in past tense because this is from memory as I cannot taste juices anymore and haven't been able to for a long time. Pro tip though: always order 1m samples from smoke rainbow. It's the cheapest way to try out flavours from virtually every company, even american juices like Mt Baker Vapour, and makes good use of your dripping atomiser.
 
So, VT200 turned up. Quite a nice looking device if I'm honest. I went with silver as I figured it wouldn't show scratches as badly as black or blue.

Observations:

Mine has the brass 510. Doesn't bother me to be honest.
Why is there no database of materials already in Escribe?
Why can I not manually edit TCR from the device screen like I can on the SX350J?
Device weight is good. About the same as the VT40 with battery. Lighter than an SX-Mini.
Device size is good.
Feels good in the hand.
Escribe is very, very powerful.

Anyone who's doing TC with the SS coils for the Uwell Crown, got any settings for me that work well?

Annoyingly you need Escribe to change TCRs and they should come up with a deal with steam engine to use the TCRs with an API as that's where it sends you.

I'm using the 316L TCRS from steam engine with the Crown Coils
 
I just dumped the 304 SS profile from Steam Engine in there. Seems to be working well at 50W with a 100W pre-heat and 230 degrees C.
 
I use the 304SS TFR from steam engine, seams to work spot on, as for not being able to change TCR from the mod, Evolv decided to go with giving you the ability to load a different TFR to each profile and the TFR curve is far more accurate for temp control than just typing in a set figure like the Yihi and other china chips or the DNA40 was.
Yes it is a pain you have to do it via escribe, but once added, its simple to change profiles.
