Well that sucks.
I'm in hospital at the moment so can't vape. I've got the VT200 with me so I keep trying to run out and have a crafty puff.
The thing I'm finding though is that unlike when I smoked, I can go hours or even days without vaping without getting any cravings.

Hope your ok Rilot, spent the last two days in and out of hospital and the doctors surgery myself and its no fun, so get well soon.

Was it the same lung that collapsed?
IN a typical procedure that will "staple" the wall of the lung along the back wall, in fact once that is done you are less likely to have another lung collapse than a person that hasn't had that procedure done before!

Nope it was the other one this time. The first time they just used a massive syringe to get rid of the air between the lung and the wall to reinflate it and i felt good as new. This time that didn't work so they stuck a tube in my side for a week to try and drain it (had to carry a bucket around the hospital the whole time lol) then when that didn't work they did the surgery with the staples and powder that glues it to the wall. Supposedly that has worked, doesn't feel like it at the moment though lol.

Got out yesterday after 2 weeks and surprisingly didn't have any cravings at all. Although being stuck in the respitory ward at the Vic until they moved me to the Royal surrounded by people with COPD, lung cancer etc didn't exactly spark the urge for a puff :)

Grumble grumble, didn't get to visit a single Vape shop in Miami :-(

Really like the look of the VS 200 even if it does have a smaller lipo- but the 2A charging looks like a saving grace in that department.

Well i checked my bank account today as got paid last night, seams i have save a nice little bundle... so i have ordered a second Wismec, but this time from Totally Wicked as they are the main Distributor for the device so should have the mod sooner than from Cigreen... £149 with 3 VTC4 cells... not quite as good as the Cigreen deal, but between the two orders its cost me £291 with 9 Cells... my Vapor Flask DNA40 cost me £259 with no cells so i am happy enough...

If you decide once they arrive you want to part with one give me a shout

Kanifee, what are you building your DNA in, hammond box or 3D printed box, and what cells you going for, Lipo or 18650?

A local E-Juice stall has started stocking Element Juice and Jimmy the Juice, so i bought a few bottles to see...

First I got Element "Key Lime Cookie"... omg... such strong flavour and reminds me of a good Lemon Meringue Pie, I got this first and have already been through 40ml and have 40ml more... £10 for 20ml, 3mg nic, 80VG.

Then I got Jimmy The Juice "SHURB", this is a nice subtle juice, not very fizzy but rather sweet, was very nice but at £17 for 30ml, 3mg nic, MAX VG, i wont be rushing to buy more.

Then I got Element "Strawberry Whip", this is a fantastic Creamy strawberry mix, a little subtle on flavour compared to the Key Lime Cookie, but is an ADV for sure.
Full of creamyness with a soft sweet strawberry after tone... again £10 for 20ml, 3mg nic, 80VG. I shall be getting more of this...

You should try Pink Lemonade as well, its between that and Key Lime Cookie for being my favourite from Element

I have tried the Pink Lemonade on a clearo tester and it was very nice, but ive a m8 at work whos got a friend that can make a very similar tasting juice and he does 100ml for about £17.. so...

But i am impressed with the Element juice ive tried so far, will def try some others.

It is massively, though don't underestimate the 900mah lipo that's in it, managed a good 15 hours of my day yesterday before putting it on charge at 16%, this was at 60w too. Just make sure to buy a 2a charger, the vast majority of phone chargers I've looked at this week have been 0.75-1.5a at best.

Cheapest I could find was at red juice.

The one thing that bugs me about the DNA200... Evolv made two board versions, the stock board used in all mods Bar Vaporshark and the board especially made for Vaporshark, as far as i know, the only difference is the VS board is a little bigger to accommodate the 2amp charger circuitry and possibly the screen attachment... there should have been only the 2amp board made full stop especially as Evolv were pushing all mod makers to use 3s Lipo cells in their mods.

I was under the impression it was not evolve's but vaporshark's own design that they tacked on an extra board to accomodate the 2A charging, and I know the screen is detachable for different placement even on the regular board. Could be totally wrong though.

@UKDTweak

I'm building in a modmaker gboy wideboy case, I prefer the rounded lines, I have that a 22mm fatdaddy 510, and keystone dual 1860 tray and magnets on order from modmaker along with a step drill set. Hopefully it will be here for Monday.

I sat and thought logically, at the moment I need 100 to 120 watts, want battery life and a decent size so a dna133 device will do the trick while I wait out the wismec fiasco and see what prices go like.

Or plan b and the one I like the most is this, been messing with sketch up since last night and have this so far.

dna200%20triple%20custom_zpsrzx2yj2e.jpg

Its awkward doing this on a laptop but it is getting there. I'm designing it to use all off the shelf parts, 3x single keystone 18650 sleds, modmaker stainless buttons and a fatdaddy connector. dna 200 sits on a push mount through pin set up. I'm trying to keep is as compact as possible.
I'm undecided if I will go for a magnet door ( easiest) or a slide door(harder to design). I have a problem with magnet doors, I'm of the opinion that in a severe vent in a metal mod I would like the force directed out of the vent holes and away from the user(also dislike vent holes at the top of mods/under hand grip area), magnet doors imo do not offer this, a severe enough vent will just blow the door off and badly hurt the users hand/face.

Obviously its viability depends on A. my skills in sketch up, sketchy at best (see what I did :D) and B. the cost to have the body machined.

Many people assumed that VS had a daughter board like they did with the DNA40, so posted on the Evolv forum asking for details and spec so they could build their own.. Brandon posted on the Evolv forums, VS ordered a special board, and because they ordered such a large quantity, Evolv did it just for them, so the board is a little bigger and has the 2amp circuitry that the standard board does not, and they will not be selling these boards to the public.

Your sketch looking a bit Wismec there lol, nice job if you can build your own version.
Yeah the 133 you get from the dual 18650 is plenty for more than most vapers and the only reason i want the triple cells of the Wismec is extra battery life as with duals i get about a day and half on a full charge and thats using Efest 2800mAh cells, so the sammy 30Q 3000mAh should get me through 2 full days i hope at least...

There is nothing as good as vaping on a mod you made yourself, keep us posted on your progress m8 and good luck with which ever build you go with.

Well I got either brave/stupid/smart this morning (delete as you feel appropriate)

And destroyed the VTBox200 I bought less than 24 hours ago.

But I ****ing did it, I managed to squeeze everything into my 3D printed design.

I need to sort the screen alignment as the VapeCige don't put an "S" bend in the ribbon and I need to re-design the lid and get one ordered as it fits perfectly when empty but all build up the contents are too tall and stop it fitting so its currently held in place with a hair band I stole from the missus

Edit: ignore the 28mm 510, along with everything else yesterday I melted the plastic insulator on my 22mm 510 so this will do for now

There is no getting around it, the wismec is the best form factor for a triple 18650 mod, I will fine tune it to try and make it look as far from the jaybo as I can but I just want the main cqse dimensions done then aesthetics later.

Triple is the way to go though. My diy double is just a tide over. At the moment I'm vaping the vt40 at 40w and I'm going through two full battery's a day.

Hey guys further to my Kanger subtank mini RBA deck, I've pulled the pin out a mm or so (see yellow arrows in photo) and it now connects with the 510 pin inside the subtank base.

Pin1.jpg

So it fires now but inconsistently because it's created a new issue on top of the RBA. There's a threading at the end of the pin that screws into the airhole directly under the coil. Because I've pulled the pin out, it's not threaded anymore and half the deck is loose giving inconsistent firing. Any idea how to fix this short of throwing this piece of **** down the toilet and buying a better tank?

Damn Froz LMAO... nutter, but once you get your old chip RMA'd you can rebuild it hopefully...

Nice looking box and a tidy small fit, well done, like the way you did the 510 negative.

Long shot, but only thing i can think of... if you have a soldering iron, put a blob of solder on the base of that 510 pin on the RBA, this will allow you to put the pin back in properly to make a good connection but extend the base of the pin so it connects to the actual tank base, and you can sand the solder blob till you get the perfect fit?
