I've got some of the new 30Qs and they are epic. They have replaced most of my VTC4s and VTC5s now.
I see no downsides with them so far although their recharge lifespan is rumoured to be less than the 25Rs.

Looking at testing from Mooch on ECF the LG HG2 will perform slightly better than the Samsung 30Q.

But both are going to offer better battery life in anything regulated over a 25R or a Sony

Just ordered 4x lg hg2 and a clone haze tank from gearbest. if I like the haze tank I will be ordering a authentic one next month.

The Smok XCube II is not a bad mod with the latest firmware but its a bit if a brick and the menu system is terrible coming from a DNA/YIHI chip, but you can control it via Bluetooth too... personally i think its a piece of junk and would not touch it with a barge pole, but others love it.

You can get is from Gearbest or Fasttech for half the price you quoted.

30q and HG2 are simialr performers, but the 30q edges out on top at the higher end of the amp draw, but i think you would be happy with either and not see the difference in real life.

**Think the Hcigar VT40 v5 only supports Ni200?** - if wrong follow the below. Or replace my Titanium suggestion with a Ni200 build.

Right unfortunately I have no experience with either the md or the squape. But try 5 coils on the Ti 26awg round 2.5mm. Should be around 0.18 0.2ohms? Spaced.

I use a new wicking method that involves fluffing the cotton out before rolling it. You use a lot more cotton than you think you should be but it works. (Scottish roll wicking method).

Then soak then wick, put the squape together. Fill it then lave it for ~10 minutes. I use the IPV D2 and use 230oC and 30 Joules.

Obviously while you wait you can set up the mod, temperature, make sure it's set on the Titanium setting, etc.

After attach the atty and lock resistance right away (new coil up/down isn't it?)

Should be good to go.

Nope ive tried all my wires with your suggestions and its still not working, the problem being the resistance just isnt stable enough on the Squape, tried everything to get it stable, but its the small contact patch of the 510 pin inside the base thats screwing it over, ive cleaned, scrubbed and even a new pin and still the same result with Ni200/Ti/NiFe wires...So im back to finding something like the Squape to take its place...the Aromanizer or whatever it is called seems like a good one, but it aint a looker is it lol.

Knightstalker, some tanks just dont work with temp control due to the way the 510 connects internally, like the KF4 for example, they had to release a new pin and spring for it and some say its still not great, so it could be the Squape is just one of those tanks.

I've sent a couple of people say the Squape doesn't work too well with TC due to unstable resistance readings

I'm not sure the Aromamazier would be a good replacement, isn't the Squape an MTL tank?

I don't know what myepack are like for honoring incorrect pricing, but the OBS CRIUS RTA is listed on their main page at £21.99, but when you go to buy it, its listed at £12.99 ;)

Turns out they do or they still haven't noticed the pricing, my white crius rta just shipped at £12.99 :D

Hi all, any recommendations for a decent starter kit? Nothing expensive, but nothing cheap and nasty either. Would prefer a cylindrical setup to a big square tank.

Will only be for occasional use. Once or twice a day. :)

I'll probably vape tobacco gold liquid.

I'll probably vape tobacco gold liquid.

20w Eleaf Istick and an Aspire Nautilus mini, it's not cylindrical but it's a very small setup, and about as good as it gets as far as starter kits.

I'd also recommend sampling some a good range of liquids, you'll find something you enjoy much more than a tobacco flavour

Mine has shipped too, but just realized its the old version with tiny post holes and non 510 drip tip.

From what I gathered from mike vapes update video, OBS will swap out old versions for new free of charge :)

That said, for the gauge wire I usually use I don't see it being much of an issue - plus I can easy drill it out if needs be and the wide bore glass tip looks right up my street too, so can't complain for £13 :D

Edit: If you're taking an educated guess that its the old one based on myepacks stock pics, they could well be out of date and are shipping the new ones, iirc they didn't officially call the new revision a new version or anything, so its all under the same name.

It's been ages since i came in here last. My vamo is still holding up ok, but im looking for a world of fog which sadly my vamo can't produce so after having tried a Kanger subohm tank i've gotta get one. Has anyone got any experience with this from vaporbreak? I know it may not be genuine but you never know.

Subtank is a good piece of kit, and easy to rebuild too with decent cotton wicks. With regards to power deliverydelivery, I can highly recommend a sigelei 100w as they are bullet proof, have space for 2x 18650 batts for great battery life, and fire subohm coils. More pocket friendly than a vamo too.

Thats the subtank plus, its a big old thing. 25mm tank! The majority will opt for its little brother, the subtank mini which is 22mm and iirc 4ml capacity, a more 'normal' size of tank :)

The sigelei 100w is a solid mod, but showing its age given whats on the market at the moment, you can grab a 120w YiHi powered temp control mod (IPV4S) for £40. Or something smaller like the IPV D2, single 18650, 75w, TC for Ni200 & Titanium :)

Thanks Dev-me-lad. Just realized i've never posted in v2 of the vapers lounge, it was the first closed thread i last posted in last and i've just checked my order history on vaporbreak and it was jan 2013 when i got the vamo. It sure has been bulletproof and it would be nice to have my next upgrade as reliable as that. Thanks for the suggestion. Where's the cheapest place to buy?

I tried vaping the other day, It tasted like empty promises and steam :D

I don't smoke and this isn't for me either but some of the equipment looks like something from Star Wars :)

Having problems with the Nautilus Mini coils again.
The latest one has been in there for 3 days (i go through around 20ml per week) and now only getting burnt hits.
Gonna order some more, don't mind if they last a week but 3 days is a poor performance.
Thinking of upgrading the tank but what to?

I haven't tried cleaning the attys yet as there is conflicting info on youtube with some saying you can clean them in IPA and others saying not worth the hassle as once they been cleaned they don't work right anyway.
