For me it wasn't about the nicotine but the flavour. I've never been a big smoker, being lucky enough to be able to give it up whenever I felt like it. I liked the vape just because of the flavour and the act of using it.

I'm not sure what levels I had of anything TBH. She filled it and set it up and so on.

If it dried your throat out then it may have been a high PG mixture or too much nic.
Try something in a 50/50 VG/PG mix or 60/40 etc and a lower nic, if you never smoked much then try 12mg or less nic.

Ah I see! The dehydration is a well documented side effect. To be fair I didn't notice it too much but I didn't drink a lot of water anyways.

Whether I just got use to it I have no idea.

Nah, after 3 days it got to the point where my eyes were drying out! I felt that awful I've not been back to it since.

Doesn't matter how nice I think blackjack tastes it wasn't worth desiccating myself :p

Bought the Subtank mini from Gearbest for £19.00
Just ordered the wire and wick from Stealth Vape - cheers Balky.
Decided to go with the 10m rolls of wire and save a couple of quid in the short term.

No worries dude, enjoy! Watch some youtube vids on how to wick and you will be good to go!

The subtank mini is a dream to coil and wick, when using the RBA deck, the flavour in my opinion is really up there with the best of tanks.

What do you folks use to stop getting crud in the drip tip?
My first time out with it and I put it in my pocket where I used to keep my baccy...the next hit was awful, mouth full of baccy.
Since then I have used an ear plug pushed into the tip which works well.

You do get the RBA deck with it don't you?
Scratch that, just checked and yes you do!

Yeah, I've still got coils from the box that have gone unused, the RBA deck is a whole different experience!

Solution : Clean our your pockets :p :p

I'm testing a istick 40w and it seems to work quite well in wattage mode with my subtank mini, really good favour.

However the temperature mode is a bit weird, it works for a bit then just switches back to wattage.

Don't really understand how the temperate control mode works, seems it doesn't.

If it's jumping out of TC mode then chances are it's faulty

Is your atty coiled with ni or ti wire, or are you using the same coil in both modes?

If you're using a stock .5 or 1.2ohm cool it'll be kanthal, and is probably knocking you out of this mode purposely

I have no idea, it's a stock 0.5ohm OCC coil.

Short draws it works, long draws it will change back to wattage mode.

I'm that case nothing wring with the Istick.

You need the 0.15ohm Ni200 coils to use TC with the Subtank. 0.5ohm coils are Kanthal which doesn't work with Temperature Control
