Thats the subtank plus, its a big old thing. 25mm tank! The majority will opt for its little brother, the subtank mini which is 22mm and iirc 4ml capacity, a more 'normal' size of tank :)

The sigelei 100w is a solid mod, but showing its age given whats on the market at the moment, you can grab a 120w YiHi powered temp control mod (IPV4S) for £40. Or something smaller like the IPV D2, single 18650, 75w, TC for Ni200 & Titanium :)

Cheers fella. Cheapest place to buy?

From what I gathered from mike vapes update video, OBS will swap out old versions for new free of charge :)

That said, for the gauge wire I usually use I don't see it being much of an issue - plus I can easy drill it out if needs be and the wide bore glass tip looks right up my street too, so can't complain for £13 :D

Edit: If you're taking an educated guess that its the old one based on myepacks stock pics, they could well be out of date and are shipping the new ones, iirc they didn't officially call the new revision a new version or anything, so its all under the same name.

They also sell the "updated" version.

Im quite happy to drill it out for £13 too :D interesting if they will swap it out tho.

Cheapest for any of the three (ipv 4s, d2 and subtank mini) would be fastech provided you aren't in a rush you can make a nice little saving, otherwise I tend to use myepack/redjuice/vapor depot for most of my mods.

There's a list of trusted suppliers in the op of this thread too :)

Ah I didn't see the updated one, whoops! Maybe it wasn't a pricing error after all then, priced to clear old stock maybe. Either way it looks decent for £13.

Any idea If the drip tip issue is others don't fit due to the diameter being out on the mod or from orings on tips not compressing enough to sit in? Either way I could probably fix that too.

Sounds like you dont have enough cotton covering the juice holes on the deck.
I thick wick the coils but trim the tails down a little, fluff them up and then tuck them under the coils and pressed lightly under the coils onto the deck, tails are normally long enough that once tucked under, the two ends meet in the middle.

Sounds exactly how I've been wicking.

Cotton pulled through the coil with enough that there's a small amount of resistance then trimmed to the edge of the Base then tucked under the coil, pretty much how I'd wick an RDA

First time on this thread. I've been using a kanger evod for six months or so but it's knackered and I'm fed up fiddling with it to stop it leaking etc.

Fortunately have a great vape shop within walking distance of the office so I'll pop over this afternoon. Read a few recommendations for the Nautilus Mini and an iStick. They have the mini and the iStick 40W in stock....good combo?

Thanks Dev-me-lad. Just realized i've never posted in v2 of the vapers lounge, it was the first closed thread i last posted in last and i've just checked my order history on vaporbreak and it was jan 2013 when i got the vamo. It sure has been bulletproof and it would be nice to have my next upgrade as reliable as that. Thanks for the suggestion. Where's the cheapest place to buy?

If you made a vamo last that long then you've done well. I drop my mod at least once a day so they take a beatin. You might be best listening to the other lads here as I'm a bit behind the times it seems!

Vaping with vic just done a review on the ipv d2 and there is a link to the eu/ru gearbest warehouse in the description.
Couple of dollars more but should be delivered a lot faster than coming from China

Oh and if you will be vaping at higher wattages you will need better batteries

What VG/PG ration is your juice? my two tanks have been leak free until last night, i opened one up to refill and must have disturbed the wicks as it started to gurgle when i vaped it afterwards and a blob of hot juice came out of one of the air holes onto my finger... twice... so i re opened it and got my tweezers and re positioned the cotton under the toils and put it back together and its been grand again, all my juice is high VG, at least 70/30 or more...

It is yes, the 40w is actually smaller then the 30w istick and maybe even smaller then the 20w. Have a read up about what wattages you require for the nautilus mini coils too as I suspect they'll be somewhere from 1.2-1.8ohm so go easy on the power :)

I wick my aromamizer the same as you guys, I've only ever had leaking from resting on its side on the odd occasion I've used 50/50, 95% of the time I use max vg only juices as most pg liquids mess my throat up.

The Gearbest EU warehouse is located in London. You'll have it in 2 days tops.

Picked it up an hour or so ago, a revelation after the tiny evod that leaked all the time. Not sure I will get away with crafty indoor vapes though with the billowing clouds this thing puts out :)

Guy in the shop recommended 10w to start with...seems plenty!

All 70/30 or thicker. Good point about about disturbing the wicking it's usually okay for a tank or two then starts to leak

Well, just invested in an upgrade.

Got a Bambino dripper with a VTC mini (60w), takes a bit of effort getting it setup (with a seperate battery, manual coils & wick) but damn the flavour is about 50,000 times betters than my nautilus mini tank with mpv2. Using Jack Calis Apple Pastry liquid (6mg) - really good also.

Hi All,

So I finally upgraded from my simple variable voltage spinner battery as it kept losing battery strength randomly.

I got a VTC mini and I would like to know what is the best, bang for buck, tank I can get for it?

I don't want to build my own in the sense of wrapping the wire etc, but just want a nice, simple tank that I can replace the prebuilt wicks on etc. :)

Thanks
