Crius is here, it is the non-updated version. Regardless the build quality is very good, plenty of room between deck and chimney, overall quite pleased with it for the price, I'll do a build in it tonight and see how it wicks and vapes.

Oh and you won't believe this, it has juice control/shut off and it doesn't look like a complete pain in the backside to use :p

Hi All,

So I finally upgraded from my simple variable voltage spinner battery as it kept losing battery strength randomly.

I got a VTC mini and I would like to know what is the best, bang for buck, tank I can get for it?

I don't want to build my own in the sense of wrapping the wire etc, but just want a nice, simple tank that I can replace the prebuilt wicks on etc. :)

Thanks

Subtank mini I reckon. Get a good 18650 though

SubTank Mini, or Delta II or Uwell Crown tank, all good choices and a variety of coil heads to use between them all... the Crown and Delta II are better IMHO than the sub tank for flavour using stock coil heads.
The Delta II is a PITA to fill and see your juice levels.
The Crown is a top filler... so it would be my top choice.

But there are lots of other options too...

Just bagged a Wismec with 3x batteries (25R's), UK vendor, free shipping, for £123.

ecigone.co.uk - discount code POTV5

Massive impulse purchase, damn you facebook groups :p

That's tempting... especally after the disappointment with the sx flask..
I don't really want a DNA200 and knowing joyetech the price of the wismecs will drop.. I just need battery life... but very tempting indeed.

Hijack...

Gonna order a new tank cos I'm getting fed up of the nautilus coils.

Was looking at the subtank mini which is currently available from Amazon for ~£23.00.
Is there anything else I need to order such as wire, deck wicking etc...
If someone would be so kind as to link me a basket with all the necessary items I would be very greatful.
Please bear in mind I am using this with a 50w Istick.

Well, are you going to make your own coils? You can buy prebuilt for them! If you are:

Go to Stealth Vape:

Wire:
Kanthal A1 - Reel Size: 0.40mm x 25m (26AWG).. £4.99
Kanthal A1 - Reel Size: 0.50mm x 25m (24AWG).. £4.99

Wick:
Cotton Bacon By Wick 'N' Vape V2 - £3.99
Grab your free Muji pads too…

Wire for years, cotton for months.

Quick battery question guys.

For the last year, I've been using a Sigelei 100w with Samsung 25Rs. I've got four pair of these, two pairs were bought with the mod about a year ago, another pair about four or five months after than, and the last pair in June / July of this year. I started with an Atlantis, then moved to a Mutation X v3, and have been using the Mutation X v4 for the last several months. I always use the same build - dual 24g four wrap parallel coils, which come out at 0.15ohm, which is the lowest my mod will recognise.

With that being said, it seems like the ramp up time on my coils is very long. My friends' seem to get their coils up to temp faster than mine. Could my batteries be knackered, or do you think it could be the mod?

OBS crius RTA white, some pros and cons after an evening with it.

Pros:

Good build quality for the price, smooth threading, no machine oil, small blister in the paint but for £13 who am I to complain.
Looks great, stuck it on my silver d2 this morning with the white sleeve (pics to follow) it looks great.
Juice flow control/shut off, compared to the likes of the cthulhu v2 and goliath v2 the juice shut off on this is streets ahead. Grip bottom, twist tank, done.
Lots of airflow, dual cyclops openings, easily adjusted.
Top fill, top part of the tank pulls up to reveal a fill hole, easy.
Nice wide chimney section over the deck

Cons:

The juice shut off is moved that easily you may accidentally close it while handling the tank.
Post holes are tiny, though I got dual 28g in easy enough, only dual hole posts on a dual coil deck, OBS get a velocity deck made!!
Wicking was a learning curve, not a great deal of room between wick holes, had to do quite a bit of trimming.

Overall I'm very impressed, especially at £12.99, hopefully we'll see a v2 with a velocity style deck in the near future, would make this rta almost perfect.

7.5/10

Dual 24awg Parallel coils, thats a lot of wire, what watts do you run as ramp up time on such big wire will be slow unless your hitting them with a lot of power...

Oops! Forgot to say that I generally run them between 70 and 85 watts. Should I move up to 100?

Can the mods be charged with a powerbank?

Considering buying a ipv4s so I can get a couple of spare batteries, this thing looks great for easy battery change.
The istick takes around 4 hours to fully charge although I haven't yet fully discharged it
Not sure what I want to do at the moment.
Don't want to find myself with nothing to vape on.

I bought 4 batteries for my ipv4, 2 in the mod 2 charging then a quick change over when required, it only lasts less then a day if I'm hammering it at 70+w all day. It's an ugly mod but I love it, it's solid and the sx330j performs excellently. I genuinely believe you can't do better for the price.

My wife got me a vape after I tried hers and quite liked it.

It dried me out something chronic. Seriously, I physically wasn't able to take on enough fluid. Has put me off somewhat.

What nicotine level was you using?

Perhaps the solution was to up the nic strength (So you vape less) and do not need to drink as much water?
