Possibly you could put the coil on a slightly smaller bit and hold one lead, then use pliers to pull the other lead, this will tighten the cols up and shrink the internal dia, but may not go so well depending on what wire your using, id start fresh m8.

Do any of you guys ever use coil makers, like the kuro ones? I make micro coils the usual way around cotton bud sticks and screwdrivers, but I'm just wondering if it would be fun to get a set, only about £8, to get perfect shaped coils every time. There's also a one piece coil maker that uk ecig store sells where all the bits and pieces are stored inside the tube.

Definitely would recommend. On eBay the coil master kits can be had for a tenner and come with 5 bits to build on!

Has anyone ever had a go on a snapdragon RDA by Eden mods? So very tempting, they look awesome for flavour and have a decent post design.

Nice one, was just watching a review on the coil master. Latest version seems to have 6 coiling poles, from 1.5 to 4mm. I'll get one.

I have always found the little blue screwdrivers that come with all the attys these days to be the perfect size for any rba deck/rta I have owned. They are about 2.25mm on the calipers and fit just enough wick for the channels.

dripper get a 3mm coil.

I have both the Kuro and Coil Master coilers, i use them both together to make my twisted wires and the Coil Master to wrap my coils, but i do spaced so have to pull them apart once wrapped, then spring them back to shape, get spot on dual twisted coils around.08 every time. The whole process takes me ten minutes from cutting the wire length to wicking the coils on the deck and having a vape on them.

Have a look at the coil master diy kits, I have the grey haze equivalent of the v1 and its fantastic. Full coil jig kit and a pile of extremely useful tools for around £30. The hook nose tweezers make wicking extremely easy :)

Sorry for the slow reply, that would be brilliant if you aren't using it! More than happy to swing you a fiver and postage costs too :)

Drop me your details in trust. I'll stick all the spares I've got in a jiffy bag for you. Only bit that's missing is glass and the barrel for the deck as I bent it trying to get it off

I coiled 2 wires at the same time yesterday, apart from taking a minute to seperate they looked good....the second coil acts as a spacer for the first and you end up with 2 identical coils.

I ended up messing with coils to try and stop the "pop" . Made a 3mm diameter coil with 6? (can't remember) wraps of 26g Kanthal which registers as 0.9ohms, not getting as much "popping" but takes a bit longer to heat up.

the time taken to heat up is directly related to the power you push into it, so as long as your wicking can keep up, turn the watts up another 5w at a time till you get it where your happy.

If your mod is a 900mAh then the W/H should be 9.99 not 10.
I got mine as a bundle from SRVapes :)

Just select Tank & RBA from the drop down, £27.99

Cheers, missed this post this morning!

Does the 0.01 make a huge difference to the WH? I did use the calculator and did get 9.99 but assumed 10.0 was close enough so left it alone.

Crown ordered today then hope for Saturday delivery :D

For space I wrap a coil on the coil master then pull legs so it pulls the wraps apart very slightly. Perfect evenly spaced coils everytime

Same here, pull apart a little more than i need, then squeeze back together and release and the coil spaces itself nicely every time.

To be honest, i dont know if it will make much if any difference...

I am fast coming to the conclusion that the wick is the hardest bit to get right and is the most crucial.
I have re-wicked and re-coiled for the past 3 nights, just trying to get it dialled in and will probably do it again tonight.
I watched a couple of tutorials and mine look the same.
