Guys - my apologies for lowering the standard of the thread, but I have stupid questions and I figured you might be able to help :D

I'm after picking up a couple of spare VV batteries - are ones from FastTech reliable/safe enough, or do I need to pay real money?

If they are, how do I know what would work for my tanks? Can I just match the voltages on the batteries I have now and that will be ok, or is there witchcraft and maths I need to work out first?

The 18650 batteries from FT can be re wraps of any old rubbish so personally i will never buy my 18650 batteries from them, id rather pay a little more and get from Torchy.
What batteries you need depends on the mod you are putting them in and how you intend to use it?

Sorry, I should have been clearer - when I say batteries, I mean as in ego-type mods.

Like I said, stupid questions :D

I absolutely love this Wismec Reuleaux. I was concerned that it would be a very heavy mod but it's not. Yes, it's weighty and much heavier than the VT200 but it's actually about the same weight as the SX-Mini M-Class (not a light mod by any stretch of the imagination) in the hand.
The shape makes it a lot less pocketable than say the VT200 or SX-Mini but I'm not fussed.

Very, very happy with it.

Glad your happy with it! Emailed ecigone today who confirmed they should get their shipment Monday, it'll be with me by Wednesday next week!

The Wismec is a fantastic DNA200 frame ive had 250 puffs at 55w so far on it and battery is still showing at least 60% left... thats with the Efest 2800mAh cells.

Here's a question. How important is it to make sure that the batteries are married when using them in series? I've got a bunch of Efest 2800mAh that were all bought at the same time and have probably been used about the same amount. Is it OK to use them in the Reuleaux?

supposed to be very important they are married actually, married together both in the mod and charger form everything I have heard. It ensures that they have a balanced and even discharge and charge over the three/two of them. it shares the load and ensure that one doesn't age sooner than the other and put more strain on the second or third to compensate.

Assuming they've seen the same sort of life then its probably okay. But personally with the cost of batteries I wouldn't risk it.

Testing the HG2 again with battery analyser as they've had 2 charge cycles through them now. Not showing any sign of improvement yet

In series very important to have batteries of the same output & in the same condition ,if you have 1 that is "off" this can cause them to discharge unevenly & cause problems.
If you wanted to try the Efest's keep a very sharp eye on how they discharge, plug into Escribe & check they are evenly discharging or have the 3 cells voltage showing in the charging screen .
Getting 3 new batteries & marrying them is the best.

According to Mooche when he was on Plumes, its not as important as people think and having them used in other mods is not a total no no, as long as they are relatively in the same condition and age then they should be fine, certainly ok as long as your not pushing them to their limits say running the full 200watts.
And if they are genuine Efest 2800mAh then they are good to 35amp, plenty for the DNA200

Mooch only rates the Efests at 20A

Yeah i noticed, but Torchy rated them higher, im of the opinion Mooche might have had fakes..

Given Efests are rewraps I'd hazard a guess at quality and consistency between them is a bit hit and miss. If I wanted 30amp cells then it would be VTC3 or LG HB2 and HB6 as they have all been confirmed by mooch as 30amp cells, and mooch seems to be more conservative in his ratings.

Another test after 2 cycles on the HG2 showed 18.5WH so nowhere near the expected ~22WH

Thanks for the advice. I've got 3 brand new VTC4s in there at the moment so I'm not worried. I was just wondering.

It does take a fair time to run the Case Analyser but was vaping on my other DNA 200 while the Rueleaux ran it and it is different to some of the others i have seen.
Is it worth it ?
No idea.

Soooo! New device for me, This missus got me for my birthday :D

It's a IPV D2, Houses a single 18650 battery, 75w max, temp control etc all that good stuff.

Like I mentioned in my last post, iv done the whole cloud chasing at 100w etc and making my own dripper outter barrels and mods etc, and the mech mods and all that stuff, And the past 8 months since I got the velocity RDA, iv been vaping around 50-70w on my velocity RDA, But been using a HUGE 100 Sigelei box mod.

So, this IPV D2, ITS SO SMALL!! :D its absolutely epic, im yet to try Ni200 or Titanium wire, will be ordering some shortly, but for now, what iv used so far, its working superb.

The IPV D2, is so small, the pictures don't justify how small it feels in the hand, its absolutely SUPERB. its really more than I expected, its better than I expected by far, its excellent.

I highly recommend it, 10/10.
One little thing I don't like, is the screen cant be rotated, and when ever I look at it, the screens upside down, but that's how I hold it, most people will hold it different, but sigelei's screens are upside down anyway.. so that's why iv gotten used to holding things that way. No biggie tho.

Also, the 3rd pic, the colour, that's just the monitor shining on it.
