Wismec RX200 has arrived from FT that was dispatched on the 1st December!

Haven't had a proper play with it yet as I'm waiting on 3xLG HG2's to arrive.

Initial thoughts are that it feels very nice in the hand, albeit quite heavy but I like that.

I think you'll all be happy when yours arrives chaps!

Has anyone else tried making DIY liquid from Chefs Vapour concentrates? I'm not sure how long this has been going on but they sell some of their popular e-liquids as concentrates so you can make your own at a fraction of the price. I've only tried three so far - Virtual Custard which is probably the nicest custard I've tried if you like it rich and creamy (beats GVC imo), Ginger Rogers which is a gingerbread/coconut/butterscotch dessert type which is again, amazing, and also Lews Brew, a coffee vape which is nice but doesn't really stand out to me. Hopefully it'll improve with steeping and get to be as nice as the other two. I mixed all of them at 20%, 70/30 VG/PG, 3mg nic.

It's £9 for 30ml of concentrate so that'll make 150ml in total and no faffing with a bunch of different flavour ratios. Got the Ginger Rogers in my Crius and it's just vape heaven.

Yeah, they seem to go in and out of stock all the time, I swear they had Ginger Nuts in stock when I posted but now it's gone.

Going to get an rx200 ordered, mainly for big battery life. The pair on FT, one is listed as 'in stock' the other 'next day shipping' I take it either or will ship out fairly rapidly?

Choose 'China Post' as your shipping method if you want it quickly.

Ships today: orders leave our doors within 12 hours
Ships next day: orders leave our doors before the next business day ends
In stock: orders leave our doors within 2 business days
Back ordered: specific shipping time is estimated and displayed on product pages, when available

After suffering for the last few days with terrible harshness on my throat with the Aromamiser I decided to give the Crown RBA another chance after it was shelved for being too fussy with wicking.

Finally got the art of wicking it nailed and I'm enjoying it so much more than the Aromamiser, harsh throat hit has gone, flavour is better and I'm once again in a happy place.

Thanks Gee, I thought they had a page explaining everything but couldn't find it on my phone :)

I'll take a gamble on the black one that's marked 'in stock' over the rancid white and green thing that's on 'ships next day' :D

Don't fancy snapping a pic of your wicking in the crown RBA when you get a chance do you? My RBA is still all boxed up, was building the courage up to tackle it this week :p

My camera isn't good enough to pick it up properly.

Using shake and vape I've got fairly tight through the coil (4 wraps 26awg Ti over 2.5mm spaced, Shake and Vape cotton) then cut 1-2mm past the deck, fluffed the ends carefully slipped the chamber over and very lightly tucked the cotton in top cover the juice holes.

The challenge is getting the amount of cotton right so you're covering the feed holes to stop leaking but not packing too much cotton in chocking the wick

Edit: This was after building on it about 4 times last night and getting hot spots once the wick was soaked, and then realising I had been using the wrong profile that was set for Ni200

Spot on Froz, you need to have just the right amount to just cover the juice holes or it will dry hit sooner, but too little and it will leak like the titanic.

Yay! Aromamizer RDTA arrived about 30 minutes ago.

Man... that velocity deck is SO EASY to build on. Absolute beaut. Finding the flavour a little muted, but that might be due overwicking (being cautious to start with given the juice flow!).

Still, no dry hits, no hot spots, can ramp up the watts.

Loving it already.

The drip tip they supply with it has an anti spit back base, try a standard drip tip thats open and see, it should improve the flavour...
the shorter the better, or you can test it with No drip tip as it was designed with the option to be used with the tiny raised mouth piece in the top cap.
