As said above, I rarely add PG to my mixes. I think they usually come in around 25% PG anyway with the PG concentrates and PG nic base. Although if I know I am going to only tank a liquid I will add some to thin it down a bit (since I generally don't thin my Glycerin anymore). Very rarely do I do a 50/50 mix anymore. And never a 80/20.

You could ditch the PG from the buy, and buy a PG base. But if you get into your ratio's then you have nowhere to go in reducing the PG content. At least with a VG base, you can always add PG if you want. If you go PG base, and PG concentrate, you'll likely always end up 20%+ PG. I never worry about it though, as all my tanks can realistically take a heavy VG mix.
 
Just done a dual 8 wrap, 26g ss316 over a 2.5mm post, spaced, 0.25ohm, 55w, probably the best vape I've had from the crius by a country mile, not even got it in temp mode yet either!!
 
How many hits can you people take from your RDA's before the wick is dry? I can take around 3 big ones and 4 smaller ones before getting dry hits...

That's a lot, I just gave it another go... 4 pulls, 5th at the very end it starts to feel dry. The vapour production is ridiculous... I now know what you guys meant by saying that the drippers are 'anti-social'. :p


I want to order some 22gauge twisted kenthal wire and some cotton. What place should I get it from? The cotton I got, is rubbish... its from gearbest.

Edit: Can you take mods like the IPV4-S with you on the plane in hand baggage? I don't need any liquid, as the liquid will be cheaper at the location I'm going to. I just hope, I won't get searched as if I'm some terrorist with a detonator in my baggage :D :p haha

You're fine with it in hand luggage, I took my istick 40w and IPV D2 in hand luggage too and from the states, I just laid it out separately going through security and bagged up my tank and liquid in one of the clear security bags, no one batted an eye.

Make sure to check on vaping rules in departures too, everywhere is different, heathrow (T5 I think I was?) is 'no ecigs' only if you ask in the bars there, its perfectly fine to do it as long as you're within the premises of the bar :D

Twisted 22g, is, well, pretty fat, make sure your post holes are big enough for it!

Try pulling your cotton out and fluffing it up before rolling it through the coils, though I think the MXv3 I have, has deeper juice wells then the v4 as the v4 looses some well space to the bottom air flow.
 
I had no issues with a Sigelei 75w and a Kangertech Subox kit as hand luggage.

I didn't bother bagging my tanks and made sure I had emptied the dribble in my tank and rinsed it in the toilet before I went through security.

Got swabbed for drugs in both Airports though

I leave my VG and PG in a cupboard at room temp, it will be fine

what ever is easier to you,
I use VG base, and when i mix 20/80, then if it takes 20% flavour, you dont need to add any PG.
At 3mg, PG or VG nic base isnt going to count much.
Personally i prefer VG base
 
Got to my local B&M after work, the Velocity clones they had matched mine and only £6, so bought one and swapped out the 510 pin to the BF pin and am now enjoying squonking on the Steam Crave mod...

Tried TI and NI200 builds but the Velocity is too airy for TC, so gone old skool, dual 26awhgKanthal. 0.46ohms @ 40w and chucking..

Bought a Genuine SnapDragon on the classifieds on UKV and its a bottom feeding RDA so looking forward to getting it and better flavour.
 
Christ I wish the B&M's by me priced their clones that well. All blatantly FT/GB purchased for next to nothing and all priced £18-20 :p

I wouldn't mind if they stocked anything decent either, but as its priced so high and most looking at an RDA will be quite experienced and know about the likes of FT, so the old stock never clears thus new stuff never comes in.

Well my local is run by a great guy and there is a small group of us that he sells stuff at cost or discounted, so i got it at cost... the FT one cost me near double and was naff, so now i have it for spares and im using the new one but with the BF pin from the FT one lol

Hopefully FT will send me a replacement, i sent them a video of the screws falling out the post holes this morning and am waiting for a reply...

That vape is cute :D

I need to buy my mum a nice little compact vape, her kangertech is slowly dying out/playing up. Any recommendations? IT would be good if it had a decent tank capacity.
 
Thats the Council of Vapors Mini volt, 40w, 1300mAh battery and can fire down to 0.2ohms... though will kill the battery fast.
May sites have it around £25-£28 but DNA Vapes do it for £20... bargain and i suggest getting one as a backup if nothing else lol

As for your mom... is she sub ohming? whats her current setup, is the tank failing?
 
She's quitting cigarettes, I've suggested vaping. The tank started leaking and the battery is not holding its charge...

The vape has to be compact with decent battery life and tank capacity, it doesn't have to chuck massive clouds. :p
 
Noisy Cricket arrived this morning, for £13 from gear best this mod is amazing, looks fantastic, very light and compact, and really kicks a punch!

They could charge £50 for the same thing and people would stil be happy with the purchase.
 
Hey TommyV, I received your Red Astaire and Looper today! Thanks mate. Nice smell from them :D I've overdone the lung hits and have a cough coming from the top of my chest. It'll clear soon and will then try some. :)

Awesome!! I like the red Astaire as it tastes fantastic but at the same time I find it clears the pallet so to speak if I've been vaping a lot of dessert/custard flavours for a while.

The Looper is 2 month steeped, just finished off the batch this morning as it happens, it's a much creamier version of looper than other brands sell, I personally prefer it. It has a slight throat hit too, which is nice :-)

The Capple Pie you kindly sent smells significantly different to when it first arrived (much much less cinnamon coming through), will wait until next weekend and then enjoy it.
 
Well the istick is starting to go, buttons not always contacting consistently as it changes to voltage mode/deactivates sometimes in use, it's not firing accidentally at least.

just dropped some money on a snowwolf v1.5 and subtank plus, was tempted to get an rda as well but didnt really know what was good or not, and i dont wanna spend too much on one, at least now i can use the current subtank mini as a rdta now without worrying about having to rebuild into daily carry

Got some clapton and ni200 heads, so should nicely keep me going for a while.

Wanting to get some nice 18350's for the p3 and turn it into something stealthy (as good a use as any seeing as it doesnt do enough watts for my taste on the subtank), but i cant find any decent ones in stock. Ahh well it's too much money this business
