Cheers dude.

I'll get a fresh pair of Efest IMR 2500 35A then, only £13.49 a pair.

All new Efest batteries now have counterfeiting stickers/codes on them. If they don't have them on, they are either fake or old stock. Neither of which you really want to touch.

All I do is vape one battery till it dies. 3 days? Maybe. Then chuck the other in. Charge the dead one. Repeat.

Am I doing it wrong.
Thats fine bud. :)

I'm thinking about getting these from Torchy The Battery Boy

Opinions?
PM him on UKV? :)

RE: Batteries and high power mods.

Everyone should read this, tons of V good info. :)

http://ukvapers.org/Thread-Batteries-for-high-power-mods

For mods which take multiple batteries, they should be:

- matched pairs (or triples etc) from the same manufacturer
- used together from new
- charged together to the same voltage
- take alternating positions in the mod (especially if used in series)

It is a good idea to check their voltage occasionally coming out of the mod to check that they are still well-matched (ie discharging at the same rate). Some chargers can monitor the condition of batteries for you.

The lead battery in a series mod will take more of a battering so switching their order in the mod will keep them better matched over time.

Never use batteries with different or unknown voltages together.

My 1st pair I bought from my local vape shop for £10 each, the new pair I'll be buying from Torchy @ £13.49 a pair.

I trust Torchy not to send me cheap and nasty clones :D

My favorite battey site = Battery University

Not really design for vapers but pure geeky battery information, there's a very good write up on serial and parallel battery setups. This is the kinda of stuff that I enjoy.. yes I know I'm sad. :(

nothing to do with like a nicotine overdose or something then lol?

It is so common it is know as nicups. It has nothing to do with overdose it is just a response to irritation. Nicotine is pretty hard to overdoes on your body will make you sick long before you can get to a level that is lethal. Also the LD50 for nicotine isn't very good, it was done a long time ago on rats and likely isn't correct for humans. I think the only way you could overdose is injection or vaporised 100% nicotine (which you can't get near unless in a lab anyway)

has anyone had problems from the "irritation" ?

alright cheers guys ill look at them ones you recommended and get some bought now :)

hmm, what do you mean about swapping batteries over?

the charger I have came with my vamo v6, it fits 18350 and 18650,
I just put the battery in my vamo, vape till its dead then swap for another 18650 and then put the dead one on charge.

You should charge them before they dead. I dont go lower than 30%

I used to get them if I used the nic spray that was too high a dosage and regulary had them on 18 nic until I dropped to 12 so I would say it HAS got something to do with too much nic. Not an overdose per se but the very beginnings of one, like feeling sick and queasy is also called an overdose

I guess you could think of it that way. I wouldn't use the word overdose myself unless it was enough to serious harm or even kill you. Like I wouldn't say someone drunk had overdosed.

Like I said the body tells you to stop long before you get to anywhere near a dangerous level. You can't even really overdose drinking nicotine because the main symptom is you throwing it up. The amounts we use just aren't strong enough to lead to what I think of as overdose.

I believe the hiccups are caused by the nicotine being swallowed in saliva and it causing irritation. At least that is the cause of them from nicotine gum.

You're 100% right in what you say bud and I would not call an overdose what some people "round up" the term to mean either. Personally ,whenever I have overdone on the nic I've ended up with hic-ups so thats why I believe the two to be linked

Side note,I picked up a Rose v2 clone on ebay for £25 as a back up and I have to say that whilst you could argue £100 price difference is maybe too much,my genuine is just better in every aspect. Smoother threads, nicer machining and it has the feel its built to last. I wouldnt call the clone tat by any stretch but Ive come to the belief that I dont mind paying for the genuine article if it supports the maker to develop more gear in the future.

Anyone recommend a good single coil rda? Found myself preferring them over dual coils now I've started messing around with my coil builds like twisted and parallel etc...

A lot of RDA's with adjustable airflow can be used in single coil mode.
I have be running a Hobo in single coil mode and have got stellar performance from it.

How is the hobo btw? It looks quite small I expect it gives a nice dense hot vape! :)

It is very small, I use it with a Hana mini clone as my out and about setup.

It is a very nice vape, it has a really deep juice well and the way the deck wall can be removed makes building it super easy. Great flavour also. :)

btw petey, where the picture of your build eh eh ;) haha.
