jesus just looked at digbys juices, a 5er for 10ml! jesus Christ, at that price id smoke fags! well no id quit all together everything. id need etleast 3 bottles to last a day. 15 quid a day at a 5er for 10ml

I am tempted to buy literally one and only one to see what the fuss is about though between it and cheap liquids, like my 8 pound for 100ml.

but if I liked it, then id be in trouble, I cant afford to pay that all the time.

But at the end of the day, pg is pg and vg is vg, nicotine is nicotine, the flavour is the only extra addative right? so why the high price, it might taste good, but surely eh, if you can make your flavour the way you want it, like me ry4 vaper.

I could probably make ry4 liquid cheaper than 8 quid for 100ml, but at 8 quid, I aint bothered about paying the price for someone else to mix it for me etc lol

If you going to try something then try Dr Stanley Clarks snake oil if you like a more citrus twist or scopes apple tart for a sweet desert. Just buy 10ml to see but as with anything I never buy small amounts as its cheaper to buy bigger amounts. Thing is theres that many different flavours its hard to recommend something. If you like anise then digbys doctor jeckl is very nice
 
Thing about that bargain basement juice is that its probs chock full of diacytol which gives you an incurable lung disease. It may be cheap but it'll be unregulated as well

how many watts do you vape that at? and what do you wrap it on? :)

I wrapped them on a cheap micro screwdriver that claims to be 3mm. I have my doubts though :/
Currently @40w while it beds in a bit and I have to say that it's not quite as nice the previous gunked up build yet. We'll see.

Haha, my apologies for making you rebuild for a picture :p

Why don't you just take the old cotton out, dry burn and rinse with water? its what I do when iv got a good build I like.

Alrighty 3mm, hmm, I definitely need to buy a few more drill bits, iv got a set of screwdrivers, but no idea what sizes they are as I don't have a box for em, iv got a 2mm drill bit, so I just try to guess the sizes when I hold em next to that, I think the one iv put blue marker pen on is 3mm, it looks about a mil bigger than the drill bit, but yeah we shall see when I try to replicate your build :p
 
Yeah, I was just dry burning and rewicking before, but it kind of needed changing anyway.
I think that was a 5 wrap build.

Honestly though, this build isn't the benchmark or anything. Perhaps try something with 26-28g? This is a fairly warm vape, so it really might not be for you :)
It is getting better though.

That Marquis RDA I linked earlier is a good shout. It's not too airy and is a killer for flavour by all accounts, plus it's easy to build on and comes with 2.5-4mm building posts. Worth a punt for £7 :) Mine's on it's way, so I'll let you know what happens with that.
 
Sounds good, defo let me know how it goes, iv spent that much on vape gear in the past 2 month... well i think i should pay someone to vape it for me, its getting ridiculous now haha. when there was nothing wrong with what i had haha

but yeah i wana try something like the low ohms and dual coils with thick wire etc, see what its actually like.

you never know, i might love it and never want a cool vape again, i say i only like a cool vape because its what iv been used to for 18 months with the same old thing lol. and im guessing the only warm vapes iv tried are like when im doing it wrong :p haha, on coils that cant handle that heat etc, well not coils, more like the diameter of them and wire and wicking and the mod, and well all of it. so if im gonna do it properly, im gonna do it properly, no half arsed trying to do it on a vamo :p

So, you usually do a 5 wrap build not a 7 wrap like in your picture?

Tbh, I don't have a 'usual' build. I kind of just see what I feel like doing at the time, so it'll be 5, 6 or 7 perhaps and a coin toss on what wire gets used :D
Couldn't say what my favorite or best recommendation is right now.

Not that I use it much, but I do quite like the 0.5ohm single coil build in the Big Dripper. Really should give that more play time actually... The MX2 is my current all day thing. Anyway, rambling now :D

Actually, while I'm here rambling, an update in the Plume Veil situation...
This particular clone is a POS. The biggest and most fundamental issue is that the 510 pin/center post is garbage. I've found that not only is it far too easy to spin it when tightening the post screws, when I last tried sticking it on the Nemesis, the 510 adjuster on that actually pushed the 510 on the PV up into the body and buggered it.
Other than that, the well is too shallow and blah blah.

No big deal at the end of the day, as I'd pretty much written it off anyway and was giving it one last chance when it did the disappearing pin trick :D
Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. However, even if it didn't do that with the pin, I wasn't really digging it tbh and it would've ended up on the shelf regardless.

ooo you mentioned single coil, haha here goes with more questions from me haha :p my bad. How do you make your single coils?

People usually just do standard 2mm, 28g kanthal 8-10 wrap 1.6 to 1.8 ohms when it comes to single coils, for my pro tank mini I like 30g, 9 wrap on a tooth pick 1.8mm, worked perfectly like that for 18 months. For my spare rda Iv been experimenting with 28g like wider coils etc, but you say 0.5 ohms, may I ask what that single coil spec is, wire diamiter and wraps etc please? :)

Haha I just like messing about and trying stuff :D
 
Okay cheers pal :) I'll give it a try when I get some 24g wire :) I think tomorrow I'm gonna try a parallel single coil, if that's the name of em, where two wires side by side and wrapped so it looks like one coil and see what happens with it, nothing too fancy about 1ohm or something. :) but for now gonna hit the sack, will see you tomorrow fellas
 
Totally forgot I ordered 90ml of mad alchemist juice on sale from a us company called skyline capers. $4.99 for 30ml! That's like £3 or so. For 90ml and uk delivery it was around 19 quid I think. Sale is still on if anyone wants to take a shot
 
Just bought the P4U IPV 2S, 70W of vaping goodness. Bit bigger than Id like, but I have my mech mod for out and about.

Two tasks now

Learn about how increasing the ohms or watts affect my build and vape. Im pretty much all .28 wire, do I need to change this?
Choose some new RTA's (hate drippers for some reason), Im tempted by the Rose v2, any others I should look at?
