I was at a vape meet this Saturday and the number of origennies at the meet outnumbered everything else. Yes it's really that good and I just picked up the 6ml version.
 
Decided to give DIY mixing another go. Tried it briefly to start with, but never managed to produce a flavour for an everyday vape. I've been using Spectrum Vaping's Custard Cream ever since, but it's getting quite expensive now, so going to try DIY once more. I'm thinking to use pre-blended concentrates this time around, hence the questions below. If anybody has tried and likes Spectrum's Custard Cream and has any DIY flavours they'd recommend for a similar palate, please let me know.

Ordered the following concentrates from Chefs Vapour:

1. FlavourArt Custard Cream
2. FlavourArt Banana Nut Bread
3. Chefs Choice Cookies N Cream
4. Chefs Choice Orees Cookies

Looking at their recommendations, anywhere between 2% and 10% concentrate should be used for the above. Does anybody know more specifically what to try? Or is it just a case of trial and error?
 
Try small samples to reduce wastage.

I'd try 4% as a standalone for the two flavour art as they are generally stronger concentrates, the chef's cpice should have a guideline on the website but I'd expect them to need 15-20%

FlavourArt don't make a Banana Nut Bread concentrate, I assume you've picked up the one by TFA (The Flavour Apprentice) - this you want at around 5% for a single flavour. I haven't tried it standalone but I have used it in a Banana Tiramisu recipe and that was around 5-6% iirc (it was delicious too!)

FlavourArt Custard Cream isn't actually a custard cream biscuit as you'd imagine it to be, it's actually just FA's main custard. Slight lemony-ness to it and a hint of vanilla. You could try it on it's own but I always tend to add some marshmellow to sweeten it up slightly.

Disappointing about the custard cream. I was hoping to use it as a substitute for the Spectrum CC. Would you mind sharing the recipe for the Banana Tiramisu?

If you go on http://www.hicsmixes.com, under the 'Bakery' section they're all listed there.

Under 'Candy/Cookies' there's also a British Custard Cream recipe.

I'd bought quite a few off this site (It's HIC's/HeadInClouds website).

Failing that, go on Vaping Underground and have a scroll through the recipes that take your fancy :)
 
Anyone had their aromamizer supreme shipped from steam crave yet? Absolutely itching to get a new RTA, at this rate I'm going to end up with a Mutank I just know it :p
 
Question About Vaping

I recently brought the Kangertech subvod kit
Im wondering why my throat is burning when i use it? ive had it for over a week now and i put a new coil in 2 days ago and im taking it straight to the lungs and im getting no flavour of my juice and my throat burns, the smoke aint as good as when i first brought it either and the juice im using is a make called the vial and flavour is candied berries, when i first used the juice i tasted it but this is my 2nd refill and now i burn and get no taste and it has 0% nicotine as well its 50% pg and 50% vg
anyone know why
 
The throat burn is because you haven't told anyone you Vape yet. You need to tell or at least mention it 50-60 times a day. Unless you're a Vegan as that will cancel each other out.

This isn't true.

You need to mention it more than 80 times a day to combat any throat soreness. But as said above, veganism will cancel this out, but will also force you to pee sitting down every time. Every time.

It's because you're using 50/50 juice, try getting some juice thats high in VG, like 70% VG and 30% PG.. that will sort out the harsh throat hits..

Like Slinxy said, higher VG will help make it smoother. I haven't used it, but those coils look fairly beefy, have you primed em properly? Before you put the tank together put a little juice in the airhole to soak the cotton. Is the replacement coil the same ohms as the last one?

5 weeks today without a ciggy. Went cold turkey straight in to vaping and its been surprisingly easy :) Enjoying the Vampire Vape Heisenberg at the moment.
