Anyone using a Wismec Reuleaux DNA 200? Any issues\feedback on it?

Looking for a regulated multi-battery solution as I'm getting fed up with changing batteries on the Sigelei 75w during the day.

I have two of the DNA200 Reuleaux's, both have been working great and around 40-60w i get lots of battery life using samsung 30q batteries or Efest 20800mAh cells, heck even with VTC3 cells it still last longer than most dual cell mods..

The only negative i would give the mod is the battery fittings, it can damage your battery wraps too easily if your not carefull.

Cheers, I'll probably use some Samsung 30Q's, my 25R's have lasted well. How bad is the battery wrap problem? I'm only running at about 30-35w, but would be nice to push my dripper a bit more (the Sigelei stops me using 50w if battery gets below three quarters)!

Get a Wismec RX200 and save yourself some money.

I looked at the RX, some were saying that charging it off USB is an issue? Doesn't balance the batteries right or something? Normally I use an external charger, but I do work some stupidly long hours sometimes!

Yup, got one and love it. Fantastic bit of kit but it's a bit too big to fit easily in a coat pocket. For this reason it mainly stays in the house.

The same applies to the RX200 but you don't get the DNA200 chip in it that's utterly amazing. I have an RX200 and it's a great mod for battery life but it can't hold a candle to the DNA powered one for configurability and the ability to do TC with pretty much any material.

However, for the price of the RX200 it's a bargain. If you mainly vape in power mode than the DNA200 offers no benefit.

I haven't used the on-board USB for charging (Wismec recommend you use an external charger anyway).

Nothing stopping you from taking a spare set of batts with you to work?

The onboard charger balances the rear two cells first then the front single from what I'd read.

You have to really hammer it (chain vape at 120w+) to drain the battery's on an rx200 in a day. That said I keep a fresh set of 3 in my bag at work for piece of mind.

I can generally get 2-3 days from mine at 50-80w using 2500mah cells.

So I finally got my hands on my VTC Mini and Clieto last night, coming from the pretty simple Subvod I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the settings...What temp do we all like to tonk on? Messing about around 200-220 on about 42W and I'm getting some pretty decent flavours and clouds.

The battery wrap issue is not that bad, just be mindful of it when removing batteries, the RX200 does not suffer the same issue as it does not have the physical reverse cell protection the DNA200 model has.

Jesus2nd, 200-220c is my prefered temp as i dont like to risk cotton burn, but you adjust to taste...

Anyone ever had the phenominon of juice becoming more concentrated as it vapes?

I've a few juices do it, they get darker with more intense flavour as you vape them, not sure if theres anything to be done about it though, hence the question.

Current tankful turned from golden to crude oil today during use

Sounds like the juices you have need a bit more time to steep, this allows the flavour to properly mix with the VG/PG. Juice with nic will get darker over time as the Nic breaks down in the juice, plus as your wicks gunk up that will also taint the colour of the juice in a tank.

The Clieto doesn't have temperature coils so I'm unsure how you are doing this. They are normal Kanthal. Temperature will do nothing.

50W to 60W works well on the 0.4 Ohm coils
80W+ on the 0.25 Ohm coils

Chaning colour when it's inside the tank is a sign of dirty wick/coils

Something like sweet in the Serpent sees me needing to dry burn and rewick every 3rd tank or so

Problem with that is its a fresh wick in here.

Dont really mind, just curious, i do have an issue with spitting at 1/3 tank capacity but bizarrely it dissapears above or below that level, and only happens on certain juices.

Ahh well, intensifying flavour aint so bad tbh

Ah right, so adjusting the temp on the mod won't actually be effecting anything? Wasn't noticing a massive difference to be honest.

It may be due to the constant burst of high temperatures coupled with oxygen through the air holes while being in the tank, kind of a 'speed-steeping'. Just a theory though :D

What mg nic do you use? I'd imagine the colouration change would be more prevalent in juices that are higher in nic.

3%, so that kills theory number 3 lol.

The high temp thing might be true, i i dont really know, its just curiosity as to what the cause is and if its something i should look into preventing.

Does seem to be only certain juices, all coloured flavours to begin with. The clear stuff doesnt do it.

Your VTC is in power mode yes? Should say at the top.
