My smoke detectors are brand new and super sensitive. I can vape MTL with a KFL and they're fine. Blow a couple of clouds from the Supreme in to the room and they go off.
It's one of the reasons I've returned to MTL again.

I set the fire alarm off in wetherspoons after a few. Mate wanted to try a flavour so I thought "sure, I'll just empty my dripper" took a few chain-toots and blew them directly upwards into the alarm, which went off. Felt like a right *** :D

Testing the waters a little more with the tsunami 24 now, dual 6 wrap, 4mm flat Clapton's, 0.3ohm, vv frozen berry at 5.5v (~100w) on the invader 3, beautiful, can't put this dripper down.

Currently eyeing up the new efusion DNA200 squonk mod, don't need the chip but outside of the dripbox 160 there's sod all other squonk mods that will do 100w, most are mech 4.2v or vw 60w :(

Yeah it was Todds' review that drew my attention to it, only a 900mah lipo but thats bearable with 1A charging for little top ups.

RX200 is really crapping out now, reading low battery when the cells hit 3.6v rather then 3.1 or 3.2v or whatever its supposed to be, tested with 2 sets of batteries too :( Will try updating to the latest firmware to see if that fixes it, otherwise its going in the bin, I was wondering why it was only lasting as long as my dual mods.

Looks like the block to stop the TPD here in the UK has been scrapped. We will now be forced with a lot of restrictions, how will it really affect you? Would you get stopped but the police smoking a mod with a 3ml tank chucking out clouds? I am unsure how this will all work :( What a shame.

I don't think it's going to make any difference at all to us as we already know where to get stuff from China.
It's the current smokers that I feel for.

You got me a bit excited mentioning that efusion DNA200 squonk mod. Then noticed it's a lipo mod.

Then the excitement disappeared! :p

Can't stand lipo mods.

I don't mind them, well, if I intend on staying below 100w, 100w and above can rinse the 900mah lipo in my vaporshark in around an hour.

May be an alternative though, Movkin have announced a squonk kit for the disguiser :D

Due in the coming weeks, will wait and see if they do a full squonk kit with the mod and the pricing of it :)

Hi all,

Been hiding behind my kanger kbox 120 and COV vengeance and still more than happy with it but I did order the new COV Defiant tank as its got top fill and coils fit the vengeance.
If any one has one I would like to hear your thoughts even though I'm sure I will like as much as the vengeance.

I also saw vaping outlaws para tank, weird system!! Bit concerned with the ceramic chip get smaller over time from reading the comments on a review on Facebook.

Vaping outlaws is UK ecig store's own brand, they have a bad rep but that's the same with any big company within a certain market i.e. dixons/currys.

Personally, I think ceramic chip tanks are a waste of time... there's a long ramp up time, requires more power/shorter battery life and wicking them can be a pain, nothing beats kanthal imho... there's plenty of ceramic chip tanks on the market that's dropped in price due to the lack of intreast.

Now that looks interesting. Would turn the Disguiser in to a very similar device to the DripBox 160

I was really keen on the Dripbox until I watched some of the reviews and saw that it has no TCR adjustment and no way to adjust the power output in TC mode (just dumps 200W at the coil).

I figured kanger would screw it up somehow, what put me off was how flush a 22mm atty sits on it, about everything I use is 24/25mm so would look daft perched on that corner of the mod.

From what I can make out the movkin can house a 25mm atty so should have plenty of room up top too, will wait for reviews but it's nice to see squonking taking off.

Anything that can be used in non-TC is a winner for me, did use TC for a period but I just rely on proper wicking and vaping at sensible watts these days :p

Plus, building with SS/Ni and pulsing at low watts brings out some amazing colours! :D

A couple of pico wraps arrived from jwrap in the US this morning, some amazing skins. I went for the following (Was BOGOF during memorial day);

it's just a shame I'm going to have to wait atleast another 2 weeks for the mods to arrive :p

Just bought myself 4 no. LG H2 batteries and a Nitecore D4 charger. If the buggers even look remotely fake inline with the guide, they are going back for a refund. Ordered from vapeclub.co.uk rather than the rainforest, still no guarantees they are genuine of course, but would like to think a bricks and mortar store would care more for its credibility than a faceless rainforest seller.

Next up is a Sigelei 213 and a Uwell Crown V2, once it is available. Looking forward to retiring my Kanger Topbox.

On another note, was at an exhibition this week at the NEC. Was popping in and out every hour or so for a vape. I couldn't believe how many vapers there were, I dare say more vapers than smokers. Got chatting to a few people outside, chatting about our weapons of choice and experiences with vaping. What was even more encouraging was that these people weren't all young, hipsters but 30+ to middle age professionals and business men. What tickles me was how the vapers stood in one group and the stinkies in another group.

I know ukecig have a bit of a rep but I have not had a problem. I don't think I will bother with the chip tanks, I like COV too much lol and I never knew outlaws were their own brand!! The defiant in theory should be the same as the vengeance but with top fill and a bigger ml capacity whilst staying the same medium size. I never bother with tc either as I find the flavour better on SS in wattage mode with the .2 coils. I might go to the ukecig shop just to look around.

I have up on the TC lark... I have stacks of ni200 wire and even some 316l SS, it just don't give a consistent vape that I want. I even have some factory coils for the subtank, aero and nautilus still... Can't remember the last time I used a factory coil.. Lol

Bit of a pro tip... You can use kanthal with TC on mesh with a DNA to stop dry hits even when monitoring is switched off. Since the DNA chip consistly monitors the ohms and when your coils start to dry out on mesh the ohms changes like mad, the chip will keep pausing and re calculating so you kinda know when the tank is dry.. Lol. If you release and press the fire button again, well then it just dumps the power.

There's Zapwarps in the UK.. Personally I think jwarps are better but zaps offer some diffence in style and mods.

I did message zapzwrapz asking if they would have any stabilised wood type skins going up at any point and they never responded, so off to Jwraps I went!

Their selection is unbelievable. :)
