***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Sing Post is around 2 weeks. NL Post is around the same IIRC from reading the forums posts on FT. Chef's choice mate.

Still struggling to find a suitable mod as an upgrade from the Alien to a 3/4 battery one.. Had a hold of a iJoy Maxo today, and fits my hand perfectly, as does the GX350... Anyone have experience with the bigger 3/4 battery mods? Reading/asking around, the Lost Vape Triade seems overpriced for what it is and my local vape store friend, whom I spoke to outside of work compared them to Apple products, for people with more money than sense ;), and the quality is in the GX350 or Maxo if I wanted a higher battery capacity... By the way, they had neither in stock so led me to believe them more :p
I've been using the RX300 a lot over the last few weeks and am getting on fine with it. Put 4 full VTC6's in it this morning and been using it all day at 100W - still about 1/4 charge left on the batteries.

Is that because he can't afford a lost vape mod?? :p. Yes they are expensive but DNA mods are not cheap, they are the best mods around due to the fact that you can customise them to your hearts content.

Now when I stick my .25ohm atty on my lost vape triade it reads .25ohm. My smok gpriv mod will read it higher. Which one do I trust the most?? The lost vape because even my 521 tab mini reads the same atty at .25ohms.

Only reason why I got the smok because it's easier to carry around, the lost vape is quite a big mod.

Sounds as if this fella either isn't well acquainted with the DNA chipset or doesn't know how to get the best from it.

Yes the mods are expensive in comparison, but in most cases, especially that of lost vape, the build quality is outstanding, along side the chip alone costing anywhere from £50-70.

Each to their own though, i tend to not use my DNA mod as much as i probably should, i vape 95% of the time in power and use my £20 Tesla invader 3 more often then not, that thing is bullet proof :D

You'll get a far healthier mod selection buying dual cell and keeping a spare set of batteries on you - or buy a DNA mod with balance charging.

What do you guys do with mods and tanks you no longer use? Im aware selling tanks is a bit of a hygiene quirk, but i've got a couple of mods i no longer use, havent touched them for months, seems a shame to have them sitting there doing nothing.

Tanks go in the bin, mods i usually use to destruction or pass it on to someone who needs it.

I see a lot of people that think DNA based mods are over priced, but then these are often the same people that dont do their research, dont really know much about their mods or understand efficiency and reliability, these are generally the lazy vapors that just want to vape without caring what or how...
The Evolv DNA's are not just good because of build quality, ive seen some shoddy DNA mods from china... they are not good just because you can tweak them via software, they are the best because they are the best boards on the market, they give True power, not made up china watts, there is a reason why DNA200/250 based mods need 3 cells.. all these cheap chinese mods claiming 180w or more on 2 18650 batteries are a marketing ploy to part fools with their money, dont get me wrong, you can still get a good vape from these cheap china mods, but the guys that think there hitting there 0.2 build at 200+ watts are deluded and going though batteries at a silly rate to get through a few vapes, and the battery life is never as good as they are less efficient and have too high a soft cut off.

In short, you get what you pay for, DNA boards are expensive because they are made in the USA and for that reason Evolv take pride in their boards and ensure the best True performance that demands a premium. China mass produces cheap boards with little regard for anything but getting your money.

Evolv haven't always been good though. I'd take a YiHi chip over Evolv tbh. The first DNA40 boards were absolutely ***** which is why it took them 5 revisions to get right and even then they weren't without problems.

Let's not forget the Evolv vs Joyetech beef of last year. Have a read if you're interested, but I won't be buying anything with an Evolv chip in anytime soon.

PS. Chinese chips are just as good. Save your cash, folks.
