Any opinions on the ammit dual?? I know a couple of people were getting one. So just wondering what they think of it.

Mine was shipped 11th May and was attempted to be delivered today but unfortunately red carded 16th! Fasttech? Living up to it's name. Should have it tomorrow evening

Just plopped a simple dual 3mm ss316 6 wrap Chinese alien in mine, will report back after I've finished the tank.

Very smooth airflow so far.

Righty, the Ammit Dual by Geek Vape...

Whats in the box? The usual, the tank, spare small glass, spare large glass, a bag of o-rings and the new top fill adapter.

The Good:

Big build deck
Easy to wick
Juice control that works and isn't slack
810/Goon size drip tip
Smooth airflow
Vapor production
Flavor
Long 510 (subjective)

The Bad:

Funky taste to start with - I should have given it a clean
Provided screwdriver is absolutely gash (use something like a flatblade jewelers driver)
Long 510 (subjective)
Flavor is a little muted with the tank extension, though thats to be expected.

All in all, impressed after one tank (6ml), use 3mm ID coils and you don't have to worry about fluffing the tails or anything, just stick it in the wells and you're good to go, I also struggle to see how this can possibly leak with exception to loose wicks, nothing hangs over the air holes other then the coils, very nice postless deck.

Provided it doesn't turn garbage on me in the next week I'll order another.

Is the Ammit better than the Kylin?

Kinda new to rtas, my daily work tank is the obs engine, love it, trust it. never leaks.
Have a Griffin 25 also, kinda nailed the wicking on it, doesn't leak anymore, but don't trust it as a pocket carry for work.

Should I just go for a OBS Engine nano (single coil builds) or
grab a Kylin?

Thanks mate for the review, guess I'll order one next week when I get paid.

FWIW I can't see the Kylin justifying the higher price tag over the ammit dual, near identical build decks and tank options, can't see the vape being a million miles apart on either tank.

I've tried both the Ammit and the Kylin . Whilst they're principally the same in design, I MUCH prefer the Kylin. It has some insulation of sorts that seperates the airflow to each vent, giving you a MUCH smoother, more level vape imo.

Regardless, both have amazing flavour. I was initially concerned they'd gone overkill with the airflow or that it would be too difficult to align the coils so that you get the full benefit. But it's great! One of the best RTA's I've owned. Much prefer building on postless decks now I've got the hang of them.

The Engine is a great RTA tbf...

Really depends on whether you're going to utilise 3 RTAs. The original Engine is the best when compared to it's direct siblings imo, so I'd stick with that over the Nano or the Mini.

Personally, I'd pick up the Kylin just too replace your 25 as a pocket carry (whislt I love the Griffin range, I hate wicking them). Had it 4 or 5 days now, rewicked it a dozen times using less and less wick. Not had a single leak as of yet aside from the usual condensation that comes with priming the coils.

Building on a postless deck might get a little getting used too, but it's easy enough once you get the hang of it, better imo!

See above :p

If you've used both your in a better position to say either way...

On my 4th tank with the ammit dual and very much enjoying it so far, not even a hint of leaking and performs well, coils I'm using usually beat the wicking after 75w, got the ammit dual at 95w so far and no sign of it slowing up, just need to get some fused Clapton's in it!

Yep, tis a great design!

Has anybody ever shopped at amuduvapes.co.uk?
I've been looking for a Minikin v2 and these guys look like they might be the cheapest at the moment, but I've never even heard of them before.

I've just had a email from DarkStar and they said no more nic after the 19th. Is this true?
Or is it just Darkstar?

There's some awesome little stealth vendors out there tbf. Canne access there site at work... best thing to do is check for reviews and the like on google.

Failing that, check out Steep House. Just opened up near me (Birmingham). Fantastic little shop and picked up my Minkin v2 from there for £69.99.

TPD comes in on the 20th or whenever it is. I'd stock up whilst you can. Glad I got one of the 2ltr freezer packs!

I have a Crown mk1, standard Cleito, and a Smok Baby Beast that I use on my RX200/VTC Mini.

Of those 3, I'd rate the Smok as the best. No leaks ever, top fill is a joy to use, and I get 2-4 weeks from the X4 coils (depends on how heavy I am hitting it). Flavour is no worse than the other 2 for me.

Yeah, I couldn't find any reviews or experiences after searching google for amudu vapes, but they have the minikin v2's listed for £62.00 + £4.98 shipping
Thanks for the Steep House lead :) But after checking the website, they seem to only have pink available :( lol
Gutted I missed them going for £50 on dnavapes
