What tank are you using? Also, what mg is the liquid?

On my first subohm tank (the Aspire Cleito), anything above 3mg would make me choke. 6mg was just about do-able if I took smaller tokes but still gave me a sore throat.

Think it might be with this 70/30 ratio I'm thinking the high the PG the bigger the clouds since I'm not one for clouds i think its irritating my throat.

I really enjoyed the tobacco flavour but everything i see is fruity flavours so I'm hoping I'm going to find one i like from one I've ordered.

120ml should see me through a few weeks! and with 12mg I'm hoping that throat hit will be present.

What amp output is the USB in your cab? May be easier having two sets of batteries and an xtar chargee that uses USB...

Its the normal 12/24 volt. My idea for the extra rig was for a backup last thing I need is being stuck out for the night and my vape dies. But could look for a charger that could do the 18650 batteries. I do carry the atomizer that came with the H-Priv but use the cloud beast.

Unfortunately with juice you just have too keep trying them until you get the right stuff for you. People can give you a rough idea but at the end of the day you'll not know until you find one that works.

There are loads of tobacco flavors out there (none taste like smoking) and they can taste of pretty random things. They mostly taste a bit like unburnt tobacco or cigars. Most people move away from tobaccos as they keep vaping so the members that post most often in this thread don't talk about them much.

Higher nicotine levels tend to give more of a hit so if that is what you need right now moving up might be good. It is worth noting you might get a bit giddy with too much nic. It isn't something I ever got from smoking but is something I've had from vaping. It is short lasting and stopping vaping for a bit stops it :)

Still no reply from T-juice, been a week now and i'm running out! :( and what i do have looks like super dehydrated P***!! And the taste ain't great, looks like a trip to my local shop for some now for some overpriced juice.

Does refridgerating make them last longer?

being new to this vape lark my main rig is a H-Priv 220w with a tfv8 its working great but being a truck driver I need a backup that's able to charge via usb. Being a ex 40 a day smoker it needs to be able to hit the spot. Any ideas are most welcome.

My current backup is a tfv4 mini on a tesla stealth, no wattage adjustment but it matches quite well with the q4 coils, a lot of punch in a small package although neither the juice nor the battery lasts any length of time.

Alternately there are options like k box etc that are small gutsy wattage adjustable and usb charging.

As long as the USB can output at over 2A (don't see any reason why it wouldn't!) then take a look at the Xtar VC4, yes its 4 bay but the smaller VC2 only charges at 0.5A compared to the VC4's 1A. To give you rough context from my 2500mah 20A LG cells...

0.5A takes just over 4 hours to charge fully from 3.3v to 4.2v
1A takes just over 2 hours to charge fully from 3.3v to 4.2v
2A...you guessed it takes roughly an hour, though 2A charging isn't completely healthy for the cells so stay at 1A where possible.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend a contained battery mod, or on board charging - with exception to single cell mods, they're safe enough, but I get the feeling a single cell isn't going to drive a TFV8 :p

If the battery dies in a contained mod then it go's in the bin and your without a backup on the road. If an 18650 dies (not common) you can nip into any vape shop you may pass and pick up another :)

In your situation i'd be getting the VC4 + 4 x VTC5A/30Q/HG2 batteries, plenty of back up, plenty of quality :)

The VC2 Plus Master does 2 cells at 1A each.

Just sent an e-mail to vampire vape,
Pinkman, Rhubarb and Custard, flavours.
Does the manufacturer data sheets for the 'raw' ingredients state they're free from
DIACETYL, ACETOIN and ACETYL PROPIONYL?

If you're bothered about these added nasties, switch over to mixing your own liquid.

Pinkman especially as it's bright pink, how much (artificial) food colouring have they added to that?

The jackamoo juice strawberry shortcake. Was rather nice at first. But from 30ml to about 8ml left in the bottle, ive noticed that very familiar smell and taste of popcorn as its very strong. Anyone else get that after a vape is running low and has deepend in colour after awhile say few weeks since u bought it? Its exactly like when a custard vape is left for a few weeks too and goes darker orange in color. Im worried about it containing the Diacetyl. I mean its very buttery/popcorn kinda taste. I noticed it in devilioius custard after awhile, rejuiced custard, jackamoos strawberry shortcake now. I think its also in a cream based ejuice i have had before too.

Thoughts? safe to vape even tho i dont want to as its not nice tbh and ive no idea how its changed flavvour from being nice when bought to strong popcorn afer few weeks time.

Wouldn't surprise me that these cheap vendors are using concentrates that contain Diacetyl, Acetoin & Acetyl Propionyl. Saying that I've paid £60 for 120ml (Ruthless Rise) before I started mixing and I can tell full well that it's packed with an absolute ton of sweetener/sucralose. As I said above though, if you want to be 100% certain that you're vaping juice without these nasties, make your own using concentrates that you KNOW are clear.

______

Before you say "oh I don't have the time to mix", I guarantee you it'll take you less time to mix 100ml than to go on a website, choose what you want, order it and wait for delivery - not to mention you'll save a ton.

The initial cost for getting into DIY E-liquid may be on the high side, but for about £50-60 you can order everything you need to get into mixing; scales, bottles, PG/VG/Nic and concentrates.

I've been mixing for about a year and a half now so trust me on this; once you start you won't be able to stop and you'll think to yourself, "why the hell didn't I start doing this sooner?"

You've peaked my interest, can you point me toward your definitive list of nasty free products and everything I'll need?

I'm sick of trying to decide what mix of pg/vg to buy, what nic strength and who is a good vendor and who isnt and its cost me a fortune to get to the point that I am at so if I mix my own I will save myself a lot of money

Thanks in advance

Scales - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ME8VI34

PG/VG and Nic all from Darkstar Vapour - http://www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/ // I recommend 72mg PG base. DARK10 gives you 10% off too I think! You may want to get a 10ml Syringe from here too, to decant your Nicotine from the bigger bottle into a smaller squeezable one. That way you're not risking your Nicotine to oxygen which can degrade it quicker.

Concentrates are a personal choice, I mostly use FlavourArt, Capella and TFA (The Flavour Apprentice). Just take note that some contain known 'nasty' ingredients; Acetoin, Acetyl Propionyl and potentially Diacetyl. For the record FlavourArt (FA) use NONE of these ingredients. Both Capella and TFA state whether or not their concentrates contain either Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl. Stay away from Flavor West concentrates!!

I'd recommend looking at some recipes first before deciding on what concentrates to buy. FlavourArt have a 6 concentrates for £16 deal

Bottles - https://www.ibottles.co.uk/products...t-plastic-ldpe-dropper-bottle-stubby-tip.html. I only get the 100ml ones, but I'd recommend picking up a single 30ml squeezable bottle with a needle tip to store your nicotine in. You can always top it up as/when needed and it's small enough to store in the fridge to keep it from going bad.

I'd probably pick up 2 of these to hold your PG and VG. 250ml ones should be plenty big enough - https://www.ibottles.co.uk/products...-plastic-bottle-natural-white-or-black-2.html

Recipes: http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/ - http://vapingunderground.com/forums/diy-e-liquid-recipes.50/ // depends what type of flavour liquid you're after, but I'd probably look at making some fruit ones to start off with, they require very little steeping time (usually shake & vape!). I made this the other day which I'm currently vaping right now and it's lovely.

That should be everything to get you set up mate, if you need any help gimme a shout.

Thank you very much I think I'm going to give it a crack, can I take from this that if I buy from darkstarvapour and flavourart I will be 100% nasty free?

FlavourArt concentrates contain no 'nasties' whatsoever.

Darkstar are a very reputable company that sell great quality Nicotine, PG and VG.

I do mix my own, vampire supply concentrates.
It appears that VV add extra colouring to their retail bottles of premix as the concentrate of pinkman is lighter (to stop counterfeiting no doubt).

Hi,

We will be releasing our data sheet's soon on all our liquid range and will
be on our website, as our liquid has been changed with other ingredients
even if I gave you the manufacturer's data sheet it would be different to
ours.

Have you tried any other concentrates apart from VV? £9.99 for 30ml of concentrate that you need to mix between 10-20% isn't good value.

Definitely going to start mixing my own as Gee explained it sounds quite easy.

Will save me plenty no doubt and help when the taxation starts being applied to anything with the word vape or e juice in the title!

I'm looking for a tobacco flavour to be honest anything info sheet on that website? Would the concentrate be straight tobacco flavour or is it a mix of different parts? Its all very sciencey i think i'll get myself a white coat and some black rubber gloves to along with it :D
