Cheers Devrij!

I did just see a microlite kit on totally wicked http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/disposables-and-cartomizer-kits-2/cartomizer-kits/microlite-kit/tecc-microlite-cartomiser-kit-black-product.html

Are they any good? I like the idea of the rechargable case and i can hold 5 carts at the same time.

I have heard others say positive things about them, but I prefer to carry one spare battery and a plastic dropper bottle of liquid instead of a box of tricks. The microlites are good if you want something that looks like a cigarette, but I find the batteries aren't as reliable or long lasting. They aren't as good in terms of performance, but they 're small and light.

That's the kit I started out with. Its OK but I found the taste was a bit harsh, regardless of which liquid I used. After a month I purchased a Titan Tank kit from TW which was a major improvement.

Devrij - What tank would I use for it to sit flush with one of the battery setups you suggested for me? I have a feeling that a 510 boge will get snapped off in that

So, really liking the VH Star kit. I went from 30 analogue cigs a day on Friday to 0 today. Feeling just fine.

I'm find it a bit difficult to get my head around what canisters/atomizers I should get as replacements going forwards. I like the ones with the kit as they hold lots of fluid but I can't see any direct replacements for them on the VH site for when they burn out.
What do you guys recommend?

Also, I'm really liking vaping as a vice in itself so should I invest in a variable voltage kit?

Just ordered the VH Star kit :)

I'm also interested in different canistors and atomizers. What do you need to look at for compatability between batteries etc? A bit confused

3 months now on ecigs, dosage down from 18mg to 12mg in the past month, not one cigarette and boy I've been in loads of situations where I would have sparked up. Great way of quitting smoking simply because its a great simulation of the "real" thing.

You could use the boges in there no problem. It will fit any ego/510 atty in there (with a very few exceptions where the skirt is very wide). I use the Vivi Nova and smok mega dual coil cartos (I get mine from e-cig wizard, but you could probably shop around).

You'll hear the ego or 510 connector being discussed a lot when it comes to batteries/atties. The 510 fitting doesn't have a "skirt" around it, and generally fits any device. Ego atties have a skirt for aesthetic purposes, but essentially they're just a 510 screw fitting.

Pretty much any atty will fit on the batteries that come with the VH star kit, because the ego batteries it uses have an eg0/510 fitting. Ego atties will fit flush with the skirt meeting the battery, 510 atties will be thinner. Some will look better on it than others, but they'll all work.

As for which one to choose? It's a matter of preference really. I always recommend the smok mega dual coil cartomisers because a) they hold a lot of liquid and don't require topping up more than once a day, b) they never give a burnt taste unless you run them really really really dry, but you'd notice a drop in vapour before then, and c) they're easy to use and cheap to replace. They do lose their best effect quite quickly though (I tend to swap them out within 2 weeks when the flavour/vapour starts to drop off, sometimes sooner).

These are the 510 fitting with no skirt

These are the same with the ego fitting (notice the skirt). You'll want these if you have an ego battery (the ones that come with the VH star kit) because they'll look nicer.

I'm pretty sure the VH star comes with vision ego clearomisers, but I think they have a bit of a plasticky taste when you start using them. Again, a matter of preference.

Some of the guys on here like the boge 510 cartos because they're dirt cheap and do the job well

Try them out for yourself and see what you like best. You can pick up a few for less than a pack of fags :)

Was surprised to see this pop up in my subscriptions. Pleasantly, given the OPs addition. :) Personally, I'm 18 months nicotine free now. :)

Im not a heavy smoker, id say medium-ish.. Ive tried the E-Cigs from the local shops... they are "OK" as I don't have anything better to base them on I like the whole aspect of vaping so I am going to order http://www.ecigwizard.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/starter-bundle/standardbundle.html which is a starter kit but after doing some research Im seeing these huge batteries (Whats the vapor terminology?) with more capacity and voltage settings what disappointed me with E Cigs was the effort to get a decent draw now knowing this as an issue before I buy the starter kit would it be worth me buying an alternative battery with different voltage settings to get an easier big vapor draw or would you recommend me crossing that bridge If I happen to not be happy with the strength of the draw from the starter kit?

Also, I smoke roughly around 6/10 BH Silver per day, What strength mixture would be recommended I was thinking 6MG Low, rather than Medium/High.. thoughts?

That bundle you've bought there is similar to what I have. Believe me, they are a world away from the e-cigs you get in shops. So much more of a hit.

Rights reassuring thanks very much, I will wait until this kit arrives and give it a few days to see how it feels and if it suits what Im looking for hit wise, Reading reviews most positive the odd not so positive, Im not sure if you could help or anyone else but I read that the starter kits are not meant to last so long in the Clearomiser department what would the advantages of purchasing a Vision eGo CE5 V3 Clearomiser would there be? Also when proceeding to check out after adding it in to my cart it recommends the C35 V3.

Will definitely keep you guys updated, feeling quite positive towards this.

I had that battery with my riva 1100 starter kit. It makes a nice amount of vapour with the liquids I use (Dekang triple menthol) and RY4.

Devrij will help you more as I'm no pro at this! I've had my ecig since August 2012 though and am very happy with it.

Thanks Mike, Well I have ordered my Starter Kit with Menthol as I tried e Cigs Tobacco and it was awful compared to Menthol, although once I know what strength mixture I will try RY4, that sounds my cup of tea Low/Medium I believe which I assume is 11MG as Im not such an heavy smoker.

Hi, apologies for not reading the whole thread.
I am a habitual smoker, i give them up regualry, but cant seem to stay off them.
Eg, gave up for new year, last week in the pub, had a few fags as i was tipsy, and now back to my 20 a day habit

I am interested in these, as i am now thinking long term, and i may be better off with these, than stopping and starting the fags every few months.

I looked at the VH Star Kit that Rilot got, i take it these are a good starter kit?

Our kit has been put together to give you everything you need to start vaping.

Devrij - I'll need to pick your brains probably next week for juices, which ones to try, where you get yours from, which nicotine dosage is best to start of with and to work my way down until I have 0% nicotine etc etc

I've come to face reality that I needed a decent vape machine. I know it may sound crazy but the provari 2 and SvoëMesto Kayfun will be more of an investment as it will give consistent, good quality vapes and will last for years.

I've got the Joytech Evic; Hyper 4 Atomizer; eGo-T Atomizer and HS Apple 24mg nicotine on the way and should be here next Tuesday. If that doesn't give me good hits then I'm just gonna go wild and get the other stuff instead at which point I'll need to talk about juices.
